Let's turn the tables-

What photography equipment or accessories would you recommend for under $100? I know...$100 doesn't go very far in this hobby!

I'll go first-
I really like those lens cap keeper thingamabobs (note my professional jargon)! Hey, they are a bargain at 2 for less than $2. That's more in my budget!

Here is my short list of items all under $100:

A Sto-fen flash diffuser, which is a translucent plastic thingy that slides over the end of a flash to make the light less harsh.

A good micro-fiber cloth for keeping your glass clean.

A set of Sensor Swabs and Eclipse solution to keep your sensor clean.

A good camera neck strap.

A set of plates or L-brackets for your quick-release ball head (this is pushing the $100 limit).

A Canon 500D close-up lens for macro on the cheap.

A polarizer OR a set of ND grads.

1. Lightroom ($99) for the academic version
2. Anual subscription to a good photosharing site (smugmug, zenfolio etc)
3. Monopod
4. Extra battery for your camera
5. Circular polorizer
6. Remote shutter release

7. A day at disney, that's just about 100 bucks for park entry now.

photoshop elements, good and more than adequate program for most users, around $80 last i looked

jen if you have one for your 28-135 just get a step up ring( $10) since the 70-200 is smaller diameter but...
just don't leave it on the 28-135, think you lost it and search the house yard car county state nation to find it...then find it next time you take the lens cap off the 28-135..not that i am speaking from experience, just hypothetically it could happen
