OK...REALLY CONFUSED! New Quick Service Plan

I have never used a dining plan and have not been to Disney in over 15 years. I booked a pkg with the Quick Service Meal Plan. How do you know where you can eat and what you can eat as a quick serve meal? It seems like only certain places honor the plan? Are they marked at the parks? Is there a list of what places you can eat at and what they serve? Are counter meals the same as the new quick service meals now? Maybe it is just me....

There is a list on the Disney site that shows which resturants are quick service. Just look under dining at each park. But in my observation a quick service resturant is a non-buffet resturant that you walk up to and order your food. A table service meal is a one where you sit down and order or eat from the buffet.

walk up to the counter, order, get food on a tray, find a table, eat, you know, like fast food places. Don't worry too much about which places these are. Just about every fast food establishment in WDW is a CS under the plan. My personal favorite is Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney!!

The Quick service plan does not cover Table Service restaurants, be seated by a hostess, get a menu, order, waitstaff serves & cleans up.

The 2009 list will expand. Some places (both TS and CS) are not currently on the 2009 list because they are not owned by Disney and their contracts must be finalized before they are added to the DDP participation list. The 2009 list you see in November will probably be more extensive than the one you are seeing now.

Thank you.....seems clearer now. Guess basically we will play it by ear lmao: ) and when we want something just stop at what is near. Maybe I am trying to plan too much!
