My sister turns 8 on August 4th.
We booked our trip (8/4 - 8/9) back in Feb, and we (mom, step dad and mh) decided that we were gonna surprise her on her actual birthday. My mom (being the mean lady she is) has been leaving the Disney channel on the TV, buying my sister coloring books etc about Disney.. and my sister has picked up on all of this and has been asking to go. We tell her "maybe in a few years" and she's been so upset so finally she says "well am I getting a b-day party?" we tell her not this year and she says "Fine, we will just go to the Bronx zoo then" and we say "we'll see". So here we have this soon to be 8 year old that's so mad at all of us (the whole damn world knows and she's the only one that doesn't) and we are gonna wake her up on the 4th, go get a manicure and pedicure (yes, the nail lady even knows!) and then come home and tell her "SURPRISE! We are going to Disney.. TODAY!" And then leave for the airport after she looses her darn mind
