OK, Now I'm In The Christmas Spirit

I didn't think I was going to be able to buy many gifts, but yesterday Roger informed me that he had gotten a surprise bonus of almost $700 from his part-time job and that since I have stuck by him through the rough times (being the one who bought lunch sometimes, giving him gas money when he needed it, etc.) he's going to take me out and we're going to get whatever I want for Christmas gifts and for me. I know what Christmas is really about, but the thought of not having enough gifts for the kids and my other loved ones had me really down.

Not DH, pretty serious boyfriend but you're right....He's being VERY sweet (especially considering that they're not even his kids and he wants to make Christmas special for both of them and me.)
