Ok, now I really am in the old and lame club

So, here I am at WDW, in Animal Kingdom and my DD17 and I get on Everest, Woot, finally!
Then we go backward in the dark...my head starts spinning and I get nausea...bummer! All the fast rides are doing this to me now.
Anyway, we used the VMK coupon to get a picture. I will post, when I get home.
Tomorrow, MK and all my quest stuff, well first back to AK, because I forgot to get my stamp at Kali river ride. Told you I am old and lame

Lol. Don't worry I'm in the old and lame club and I'm only 23 (24 in 2 months).
I never had motion sickness problems before, however, in the past few years it has been getting worse and worse. I hate riding in the back of cars, I get so sick to my stomach. I used to read all of the time in the car, but this past Thanksgiving, I tried to do reading for class, but couldn't because the tummy was not liking it.

Being 35 and not having ridden a roller coaster in a few years (had back problems now corrected via surgery a year ago), I'm interested to see how I'll react, as well. Yeah, I'm definitely feeling old and lame.

Sorry to hear that my friend. But hey, don't feel alone... welcome to my club! Sad to say age does seem to take it's toll.

I haven't been able to do quite a few rides (albeit at our local Six Flags for lack of "credits" to get to WDW) for well.. quite a few years! (No, I won't say how many!)

I think it comes with age. I'm a huge coaster fan and came off Montu shaking the last time I rode it at Busch Gardens.

Congrats on the best room award. I have been a member of the old and lame club for some time now but I can still do the coasters My youngest DS12 was the one to get nausea.

I agree with you it is lava here. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Hey Ears!!! Yeah, welcome to the club!! That Everest backwards part did me in too! I felt dizzy and "off" afterwards, but that didn't stop me from riding it again and again though. Yeah, I am a glutton for punishment.

And thanks for the little "dig" that you are at the parks right now.. Such is the life while we common people sit back here at our computers daydreaming of such times.

HAVE FUN! And ride that Everest coaster just one more time for me!

Oh don't feel bad same thing happened to my husband in March, he had to go back to the Pop for the rest of the day. I will give him this we did ride it three time in a row. My kids love to remind him of it by asking if he remembers a part of AK and then saying oh yeah you weren't there you were back in the room sick!

Same problem here. I never had trouble with rides till I had my kids and now I can't go near a carrousel or like rides. Thanks goodness I have no problem with coasters.

Woot Ears!
After I hit 35 (a few years ago).....I noticed I could not do rides I had been able to do all my life! I was so bummed. Now the older I get the worse it gets. I can handle 1 big ride, but no spinning or dropping.
