lindy loo, you are telling me there is a SCOOBY-DOO meal at universal????????? i had no idea!

holy cow! my dd (complete tomboy!) EATS, BREATHS, SLEEPS, PLAYS, DREAMS, EATS, BREATHS.. SCOOBY DOO!!

since she won't do roller coasters yet, i thought universal would be a waste for us for a few years.......i may have to rethink the 2 days at sea world, and do 1 at each, hmmmmm.....now this is getting waaayyyyy too complicated!

i'm so not joking, she would come out of her skin to meet scooby in real life~! :teeth:

Take her to King's Island in Cincinnati, OH...scooby Doo all over in the kids section, which is really pretty good! Plus, she can meet Scooby! My 8yo LOVES Scooby too!!!!!!!!!

DD6 is disappointed we are not going to kings Island instead of Disney. She loves Scooby, Spongebob and all the Nick Jr. Caracters.

cool! thanks, i will have to check this place out, maybe a long weekend trip this summer.

as far as disney goes, i am going to make ressies w/ scooby doo and shaggy(at universal) for 1 night while we are at WDW. that way we will have an extra credit for our last day at WDW too.

thanks again! i'm going to leave it a surprise for her....she will come out of her skin!! i can't wait! :teeth:

Let's here it for the boys! As a mom of 2 boys, 10 pirate: and 15 pirate: (who are getting a bit old for character meals anyway) we have NEVER been to a princess meal. Back in the day a Toy Story meal would have been great!

I love this thread.

My first choice would be for a Star Wars meal of some sort. It is very popular and I mean if you have Star Wars weekends every year, why wouldn't that be a top option for a new character meal?

My other vote would definatly be for the villians. I don't think it would scare the kids away because I have been on the Disney Cruise several times and they have alot of villians on the ship.

Captain Hook and Smee, Hades, Jafar, Pain and Panic, Queen of Hearts. My all time favorite though, to which I have never gotten a picture with is...

:maleficen :maleficen :maleficen

I think it would be great for everyone. Yes some kids will be afraid but hey I've seen alot afraid of Mickey too!!

I hope Disney does take a look on here. Some really great ideas.

18 days till Coronado Springs Resort!!!!

You can see all those characters at Universal, too.

I voted for Playhouse Disney but just as easily could have voted for Toy Story or even better Monsters Inc.! DD loves that movie and so do I! I would give anything to have lunch with the Monsters Inc guys! And since we are expecting a second boy this year if Disney could do me the personal favor of rolling out this new meal before '08 I'd be eternally grateful!

I think any of these would be great! I think they should really create a character meal for the adult fans. I love the fab 5 but would like something else too.

I am really very tired of the princesses - they're everywhere! IRL too, not just in WDW. I've never been tempted to visit anything non-Disney in Orlando but a Scooby meal sounds like a lot of fun! (I also love Scooby heaven, aka, Kings Island)
