Hello, a couple of weeks ago, i posted the tread about my husband being in an accident, and our truck getting wrecked up. Ok, so this is what has happened since then. Two days later, he rolled a 300lb rock on this foot (he works in landscaping) and had to go to the hospital. They determined it was only a bad bruise and a sprain, no breaks, which is very good, considering the line of work he's in. However, he still had to take a couple of days off work (obviously) and when we called our insurance company they only acknowledge the injury if its a break, so, no compensation. Ok, we can deal with that. Then this Tuesday, going to pick him up from work (we're borrowing my parents car, in the absence of our own, and only I'm insured on it) I started getting chest pains. My daughter having spent a good 20+ hours in the car in the last couple of weeks, because of having to drop him off at work, an hour away, and go pick him up, decided she had had enough, and screamed for about half an hour. The chest pains increased. By Tuesday night, we phoned the Telehealth service (its a telephone service in Canada with nurses to help you determine if you need immediate help, or if you can do things at home, and then go see the doctor) and she heard what was happening, and immediately called an ambulance. My mother in law came down to stay with the baby, and I went to the hospital, where they told me they were afraid I had a clot on my lung. They did all kinds of tests, I was shuttled between two different hospitals, and they finally told me it wasn't a blood clot, but they didn't know what it was. So Thursday morning they did a fetal stress test, everything was good, and they sent me home. I would say I don't know how things could get worse, but i think I'd just be jinxing myself. Ok, I'm now I'm exhausted. Thanks for listening! :sunny:

sending some pixie dust your way and praying everything is going to turn around for you! :grouphug:

OMG! I am so sorry to hear what has been going on!!! It sounds like if it weren't for bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all :grouphug:

Glad to hear it wasn't a clot! You are probably having chest pains due to all this that you are going through. That and being pregnant take a huge toll on your body!

Try to take it easy :hippie: hope you are doing better (and your family too) soon!

Oh wow, I'm SO sorry to hear what's been going on in your family! I hope everyone is doing better and staying healthy!

I'm glad to hear you and the baby will be ok. After the week you had you need to prop your feet up and just relaxe. You deserve it.

This too shall pass......let's hope it passes quickly for ya'll. Just think happy thoughts about you, the little one, the baby and your husband. I know DH can't do much but maybe while he's home let he and DD have a movie day (not sure how old she is) and try to relax and take a break . Sounds like you're under alot of stress and pressure. Don't forget to take time for yourself. Us moms tend to put ourselves last behind everything else. Pixie dust and BIG hugs coming your way :grouphug:

It sounds like your guardian angel is trying to get your attention. Look closely at your life.

In the meantime, here is some pixi dust for you!!! pixiedust:

remember it always gets worse before it gets better! :) I hope everything turns out ok and pixie dust lands all around u and ur family! :sunny: pixiedust:

Hope all turns out good for you.

Sorry to hear you are going through a trying time right now! Things will get better. Could it possibly be that the baby's feet were high up near your rib cage and pushing on it? That happened to me with my first DD. I have very bad chest pain and was scared I was having some sort of heart attack..the dr. said to wait awhile, take tylenol or something for the pain and if it wasn't better in several hours to call back. It turned out it was her foot and she had it jammed up close there..it hurt really bad. I hope you and everone else feels better soon! :goodvibes

Boy I tell you, when it rains it pours. We have had several times in our own lives where it just seems like we go from bad to worse and from worse to horrible, and we weren't prepared for the bad stuff even. We always make it through, a little banged up and alot more appreciative of the non tragedy days! Just think how much more you'll get out of Disney next time you go! :wizard: Good luck to you and your family... god doesn't give more than you can handle... so you must be thought highly of!! :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear of your continuing bad luck.Hope things start to change for the better :thumbsup2
Lyndon.

Oh my, sounds like you could use a well deserved break. Take some time to just rest and take care of you and your baby. Good wishes coming your way from Ohio.

Good Grief! If I didn't know better I'd say you were one of us Murphy's! they weren't kidding about "the law" you know! :rotfl2:
I'm sorry to hear about your string of rotten luck but thank goodness you and the baby are allright! have they found out anything else or was it maybe a Panic Attack? I have gotten them on occasion and it felt like a heart attack!
very scary! :bitelip: The GOOD thing about being a Murphy is that we have a bit O' Irish luck so I'm sending you some over ok? you take care of your self and your family ok?

Lots of pixiedust: coming your way. Hope things are getting better for you and your family.

Michele
