you can take Dramaine while pregnant. I have an 8 month old and it was a life saver in early pregnancy (for morning sickness).

I have only tried the sea bands for morning sickness and they did not work at all.

That is the truth. I was on the April 7 Wonder cruise. I used the patch and so did DH. It worked great on the ship. I get seasick very easy and was not sick at all. Once I took the patch off (24 hours after being on the ship), I have had major problems. Dh had no problems at all. I STILL am rocking and swaying and Friday will be two weeks of this. I am just miserable!!! I do not think that I will use the patch again.

I guess my pressure points in my wrist are too far down to get hit by the "nub" on the band. I even had the ship doctor put them on for me in the right spot and I was so sick I thought I would die. I went on my cruise a few years ago 5 months pregnant and I took Bonine (even took it for morning sickness before the cruise for the first 3 months) and it was a lifesaver! I would just make sure you talk to YOUR doctor about it, find out what he/she suggests and then if they suggest taking a pill for it make sure you try it out BEFORE you go so you will know what it does to you. My sil tried Meclizine cold turkey the first day on the ship and she was allergic to it and ended up with hives. I tried the stupid patch and it was so bad and dialated my pupils and I felt so crummy that it would have been better to have sea sickness!! I would just suggest those two things...talk to YOUR doctor and try whatever out BEFORE you go!
