Ok, I know no one can REALLY know...but what do we think the chances are that the Avatar rerelease will make in on the Disney Ships?

Hubs and I have been looking forward to the Avatar theatrical rerelease in September, but based on our trip dates, we're probably going to miss the entire window unless Disney shows it on the ships. I know they generally show the latest Disney releases...with this one being owned by Disney but not Disney proper, and a rerelease, do we think there's any hope? Has anyone seen anything similar pop up in the Buena Vista theater?

Seems to be based on the distributor for the films.

For example: West Side Story was on the Ships but the Bobs Burgers movie wasn't.

It may depend on James Cameron himself lol.

Oooooh, that is good to know! Ok, if West Side Story was on the ships, then there's a least a glimmer of hope! Thank you for sharing :) And I would hope James Cameron would be all for it, with his love of the ocean plus the fact that he OK'd an entire Disney area based on Avatar haha

Consider me superstitious, but I wouldn't want to see a James Cameron movie focused on water while I was on a cruise ship.

He's got a case history here.

I don't think the first one was necessarily water themed! Though you may have a point for the second one when it comes out in December lmao
