OK, I Just Saw My Daughter Making Out with Her Boyfriend

in the family room. They stopped when I walked past. I guess they are occasionally going to make out and it's best if done at home, right????

My daughter is my only child so I am new at everything. She is 17 years old.

Unfortunately that is something we all go though and it is always somehow disquieting. If it makes you feel any better, I discovered there is an ever worse feeling.......when your 78 yr old father comes for a visit with his lady friend, and they say goodnight and head off to the same bedroom. At least I expected it from my kids !

Well, they did stop when they saw you, shows that they respect you.

You should have seen what my neighbor's DD was doing with her boyfriend in their front lawn, DH calls it the "yard mambo". It was quite a show the neighborhood got to see!

I know it's a shock the first time you see your only daughter kissing a guy, because you're probably thinking back to when you were 17 and kissing a guy!

.... I have yet to catch my DD making out she is almost 18 . But I did see my DS 15 and his girlfriend. It is a shock to your system wish I knew what to tell you but I myself wanted to poke my eyes out with a stick . for you .

Last year my 18 son brought his 17 yr old GF to our neighborhood pool.
Did I mention that I only invited her ONCE?

When she peeled off her t-shirt I wanted to throw my towel over her. She was practically spilling out of her bikini top if you know what I mean. She has this irritating giggle and said:
" Gee ( insert much loved son's name here) I feel kinda weird getting undressed in front of your MOTHER."
"Yeah, well honeybuns, I'm not feeling too good right at the moment either " was what I was thinking but of course didn't say.

If anyone saw the Cheaper By The Dozen scene where the mother is trying to break up her daughter and BF by clapping her hands like you would at a rude puppy and says "come on in the kitchen with me and look at a picture of your dead grandma, say the rosary..." I just about died laughing because that day at the pool I kept waiting for one of my retired neighbors to spray them down with the hose like they were two dogs out on their front lawn! I was so embarassed! I am still hoping most of those neighbors don't realize that was MY son!
My heart goes out to you poor thing!

this reminds me of my brother (whos almost 18) and his 15 year old girlfriend...she went out side with him the other day and had the TINIEST bathing suit on that i have ever seen..now im 19 so im not much older, bbut i was like..omg put some clothes on!!
