Ok, I am starting to come off my Disney high

I am sitting here this afternoon and realized that I am in a really bad mood. I think I am crashing off my disney buzz.

I am getting depressed about the website, the price of fuel, my ankles and knees and the pain.

Oh well, time to go sit in the corner and pout for a while. Not that anyone cares.....

I have severe osteoarthritis in my ankles, knees, and hips. Thats why I used the ecv at the parks.....

I know how you feel, I also feel depress over the price of fuel it has put a damper on our vacation plans for April.

Best thing you can do is start planning a vacation somewhere, it really helps to have something to look forward to...I'm at the beginning of planning my WDW vacation for April of 2009...so you won't be alone. It doesn't have to be WDW either there are alot of great places out there so plan !

Go get your medical stuff took care of ( if you can ) and if you can't get some sort of medication...sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do...don't think about it or put it off just go do it !

As far as your website goes, just let it be fun...if it stops being fun step back from it for a while. Everything will all come together and you will never be finish with it, it will always be a work in progress so just go slow and take your time with it.

Thanks everyone, but I think I might pull a Colson, and just lay low for a while. I just don't feel very disney today. Its so bad today that DS came home from school and said "I don't want to spend the night with you daddy, take me to aunties so I can see them"....

Obviously, you don't have to "feel very Disney" to be here with us on the FW board (see my other post, LOL).

Don't feel depressed about your web site! I think it's fantastic!

And, don't worry about your son. He loves you. Sometimes they just want a break, or want to be at aunties (where he probably gets spoiled), or just get in a mood themselves!

But, if you just want to go sit in a corner and pout, then feel free! I like to do that every once in awhile too. We all do. But, be sure to come back tomorrow!

I can totally identify with you. We ususally go to FtW one weekend a month, and I've had to cancel all my ressies (except for one) due to the fact that DH has been unemployed since November. I work part-time as secretary for my church, and this weekend I'll be starting another part-time job at Home Depot.

Yesterday afternoon we received a call from the City of Lakeland (the call came in at 4:30pm) who left a message on the ans mach to call regarding a position DH applied for. He called first thing this am & was told the position had already been filled. HUH? They filled it after hours??? The city offices are open M-F 8-4:30. We really think employers see ... AGE= 55, and think... TOO OLD.

Okay... I'm done whining... thank you for listening.

Oh John, I'm so sorry. The Disney blues totally suck! Hurting sucks more! It is completely ok if you have some time for yourself. You have planned and had a great vacation, you spend time on this website that is there to help other people. Think about yourself for a little while. Don't have a kungaloosh because it will just remind you of the Fort. Have....something else. Don't pull a Rog and disappear, though. You love us too much! and we love you too much!

Me and the DW did this when we got back in Dec. I would grab a few beers and we would ride through our country subdivision (which has loops) at night in our golf cart and listen to SpectroMagic. (we listened to spectro at FW in our GC while looping.)

Hey Guys, I mostly lurk here but will chime in once in a while.

I think we have all gone through the post FW blues. I know I did, and at times still do....but everyone is right, find another trip to plan!

I'm trying to decide whether to take the boys on a Disney cruise or head down to FW again.

When I really find myself in need of a FW fix, I go to the picture threads and see all your smiling faces and I find I'm cheery again...thanks!
