It started as a cool thing when I saw the free dining and mentioned it to my DH, blah, blah, blah, long story short....we booked today at the Contemporary for 6 nights, I ordered 2 books (well, ok, 3, I added the Hidden Mickey book at the end!) and now just subscribed to TGM.

Really, I must be crazy!
I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!! Now if I could actually get some housework and my paying job work done, we'd be in great shape

Just wanted to share, I know many of you DISers are just as crazy as I am! Thanks for listening (well, reading,thanks anyway!)

I think it get worse after the trip.. your come home and your happy... you show all your pictures and suvonirs, then depresssion set in because it is over.. you will not wake up tomorrow and get on a plane.. or walk into the MK your home and its not so Magical!! ... then the desperation sets you!! you will do anthing to go again!!! i mean anything!!! That is until you get the dates ready and booked again for your next trip!!!!!
(i'm in the desperation stage right now! Anyone want to go to Disney World with me?? )

You articulated it so well! This is exactly the stages I always go through. Now it’s the high because I have 1 trip booked but planning 2! Yippee!

Seriously, I ordered some pins for my DDs to start the pin-trading hobby the other day on disneyshopping in the moing when they had the code-stocking glitch. I mentioned it to my DH today and he said (give him points for knowing this), wow, thats a great deal now we just have to get them lanyards.

Ok, here's where the part comes in again. I told him I looked on ebay instead of waiting until we get there (yes, I like to be prepared!) but I wasn't sure it they were really overpirced. Ok, he says "why don't you ask your DIS friends?". I said "I already posted a message B4 I called you . Seriously, nuts, I know!

Thanks for letting me know I am not alone, It doesn't curb my addition at all but it does help!
Hope you at least smiled reading this, it really does take the stress out of a day sometime when I can read peoples post and laguh along with getting great ideas.

When are you going? We went last year during free dining and stayed at the same hotel. We only had one issue, the Night of Joy. They didn't tell us about the bands practicing the night before the concert after the park closed. Lost a couple of night of sleep.

Sorry, know nothing about Night of Joy -- just noticed you were from Newtown PA and my sis once lived in Newtown Square PA and thinking they might have been close! Anyway, she lives in FLORIDA now ... 1 1/2 hours from WDW -- lucky HER!

Onto crazy -- so glad my husband doesn't get home from work until late -- I can get all my crazy stuff out by posting at the DIS boards. Then, as he eats his dinner with his MICKEY MOUSE knife, fork and spoon, he knows -- MY obsession translates to HIS NEW LIFE!

Wow, I am happy for all those who got to go during Free Dining -- what a great perk. Couldn't go in August and September is End o' Year for us at work and NO ONE GOES ANYWHERE! ... oh well, I have NOVEMBER to dream of!
