Ok I am already booked with Dreams but I have a ???

If I get a AAA membership can the code still be applied to my package or did I have to book through AAA.

If I can save some money on this then I will get a membership otherwise I won't bother.

To get the AAA discount off the room portion of a AAA package, you have to go through a AAA travel agency. (AAA discounts subject to availability.)

Doing this saved me $268, and we were able to get the dining plan.

If you don't want the dining plan, you can get the AAA room-only discount through DU (provided it's available).

Thanks! It won't help me now. Since to cancel with dreams I lose my trip insurance money. But next year I will plan better...oh did I say next year. I guess I am planning on going again.

Does Disney no longer book AAA rates? When I booked my package with dining through WDTC, the CM said I couldn't get the AAA rate with the dining plan, so I just didn't pursue it further.

So, do I need to cancel my WDTC reservation and try to rebook through AAA? Did your AAA TA also set you up with the dining plan, or did you have to call Disney to do this?

I know you can get room rate discounts via Dreams. Send you agent an email and ask.

The way I understand it is to book a AAA rate MYW package (where the room part is discounted on your MYW package price) you have to book it through AAA. If you want to book room only with a AAA discount, that can be done either through a travel agent such as DU or directly through Disney's CRO, but not online through the Disney website.

That is the MYW package and AAA can book it all for you. You get the room, the option to include dining (tied into the number of nights and people in the room - everyone has to get it, it expires at midnight on the day you check out) and tickets (any number of days, it doesn't have to match the number of nights you are staying.) That's how the new package works. The difference is, if you are a AAA member and book the MYW package through AAA you will get a discount on the room portion of the package.
