Can a child enter DL on an adult ticket? We will be going to DL for my DD's 5th birthday with my parents and sister. We are trying to figure out how many days we want to spend at DL. DH & I were thinking about buying 4-day PHs, but my dad is not excited about spending that many days at DL. He thinks one day is just fine for him.

DD really wants everyone to come to Ariel's Grotto on her birthday (the first day we'll be at DL) for a princess meal. I was planning on getting DD a child's PH ticket and then getting her the birthday funcard. (For this to work, do we have to activate the PH ticket the day before her birthday or can her birthday be day 1 of the PH?)

But I could also buy 5 adult 4-day PHs for DH, me, my sister, and my parents and then have DD get in free on her birthday so that we can all go to DCA for the princess meal. Would DD be able to use my dad's PH ticket for the other days of the trip since he only wants to go one day? Or can she only enter DL on a child's PH ticket?

Thanks for your help!

Your daughter can use an adult PH ticket, but an adult can't use a childs. (obvious) The free birthday ticket is not a park hopper but a 1 day 1 park ticket, if you use it to get into DCA for breakfast you can't hop back over to DL.

Yes, luckily, it's not a fingerprint system like at WDW, or else she would not be able to do that.

Thanks for the info! I don't know that we'll actually do this (I'm trying to convince my dad that he'll enjoy going to DL/DCA for four days), but it's good to know that DD would be able to use an adult ticket just in case.
