If you are staying on WDW property, what kind of rate have you gotten? Thanks!

But have not yet booked accomodation..
Usually, I am checking in mid-December so the rate is often good...I think this year checking Dec 28th..I likely will be paying top dollar!!

Oh well....It will be fun!

Sorry, I won't be at WDW for New Year's Eve.....

I'll be on the DCL Magic instead!!!!

We'll be there! We'll be at BoardWalk for the first three days (DVC members, so we're on our points.) If our waitlist (12/31 - 1/2) doesn't come through so that we can stay at BW, we'll move to Poly for three nights. NYE is very, very, very expensive ($500+ for lagoon view), and right now I'm booked for $300 night for the next two nights. I remember last year doing something similar at AKL, and about the last two weeks in November, codes came out for Jan. 1 and on. I'm expecting that the Poly rate for 1/1 and 1/2 will come down substantially, but I know that NYE will stay high.
(I'm REALLY hoping our waitlist comes through.)

On another note, last year, we stayed NYE at the Swan on a teacher rate. ($129 per night) Then we moved over to AKL. (AKL was quoting me $400 for NYE!)

We are staying at the Dolphin at the nurses rate of $129.00 + tax per nite for 3 nights, then moving over to HRH at Universal for 2 nights over NYE, $224.00 + tax, AAA rate, with upgrade to club level because we are gold Loews 1st members. I would love to be a Disney over NYE, but my family loves HRH, and you can't beat FOTL, especially when it is so crowded! Dreams Unlimited is now booking S/D at the discounted nurse, gov. etc. rate, so if you qualify for any of these, the price and location can't be beat!

Hi we'll be at CSR,12/25-12/30- 119.00 per night through shades of green, then off to the Dolphin, 12/30-1/5 for 139.00 per night Government rate! I'll really excited!......goof

We'll be there again this year(did it last year and stayed with our dvc points at OKW) andwe rented out our reservations at OKW for 1 bdroom and got a great teacher's rate at Swan for CL $214 a night(12/28-1/02/04). We chose to do this because we thought the location of Swan was perfect. Last year we started NYE at MGM(drove and parked there from OKW) then took boat over to Epcot around 6pm. Of course it was very crowded, but after our PS at Teppanyaki(we had 7:30ps but waited an hour to be seated) it was pouring and we were up to our ankle in puddles. Decided to take boat to BW(we were soaked)and DH took it all the way to MGM and got the car and drove to BW to pick us up. We made it to our room around 11pm and watched the ball drop in New York. We thought if we had stayed until 12pm at Epcot, we would never get to resort until 2am! Swan is a boat ride or a walk from Epcot or MGM so it seemed better idea.
Can't wait to be there again, very festive!

Goof -

Were you offered any other resorts through shades of green?

Why didn't they put you at the Contemporary?

Thanks!
