This may be a really dumb question, but... What is all this "clique" stuff about? I've been seeing all these threads, but I'm just so confused.

Anyone care to explain to a "dumb brunette"? You may have to break it down a little bit. LOL

Unfortunately, some people feel left out of certain long-running threads and think they are too clique-ish. There have been a few anti-clique threads started, but these have also turned clique-ish. I don't see the big deal. What's wrong with having a good time with people who make you laugh or cheer you up on a crappy day? As a "clique hopper", I've found that most of the long-running threads have been very welcoming. All you gotta do is just jump in and post often - it's really not difficult!

Cliff notes version
There are a lot of long running threads that are composed of just a "small" (may or may not be small, but small in comparison to the DIS as a whole) group of people that post regularly. Some of these threads started as just ordinary threads that got hijacked and became long running threads (Tigger and Belle needing to clean out her PM's comes to mind). Some are threads of groups of people with common bond or a group of friends. When I got here a couple years ago there was a relatively small amount of clique threads here. Now there are a significant amount of clique threads, and almost all threads eventually get hijacked by the same group of posters. Some people feel left out of the cliques, other's (like me) just get really annoyed by the one or two cliques that make it their job to hijack as many threads as possible
