Wonder when they will fix the bug that you are playing a game of capture the flag and in the 3rd round you are playing battle ship.
I have enough problems remembering what game I am playing I do not need help


why is it that I know we lost the last game but it gives us the win anyways. I know it is not points because I can still see the other teams ship still standing.

Why is it when you are playing against computer ships in Pirates and you shoot at them you get no points and they count the points you should have gotten.

For your second question, are you talking about Capture the Flag or Ship Battle? Because if you are talking about Capture the Flag, I have a possible explanation why that might be happening.

It actually happens in both cpature the flag and battleship. The computer ship gets all your points.

Unless I'm doing a quest I stay away from AI players. You get no points in game and not even the 100 for the win.

I was actually talking about the question where you were wondering why it looks like you lost, but the game says you won.

If you're playing capture the flag, whichever team gets the flag closer to their base wins, so even if a whole team gets destroyed, if they moved their flag closer to their base than the team that's still alive, the destroyed team wins.

The winning screen always displays why the team wins.

"got the flag closer"
"scored the most points"

It depends on what has happened. If no flag has moved.. the most points wins. If both teams are blown up... closet flag wins.

Just watch the window at the end of each round.

I play pirates all the time, mostly CTF though I'm finally getting better at battle. I've NEVER had this happen! Keeps it interesting, I guess.

the others gave good reasons. The game is Capture The Flag, in which the goal is to bring the flag to home base, not to anihilate each other. More credits if you bring it home and there are opposite team member still afloat. If they have it closer, and you shoot and kill in same shot while it's on their boat, they win. In the past month I've noticed more and more that if one cannon hits first to make them drop the flag, then a second cannon a milisecond later hits to sink, if the flag is on your teams boat, you will win for having the flag aboard ship. This is a big risk since you don't know how much health they have or whether cannons will hit at same time and sink, giving the win to them. But if it's obvious they will get to home and you won't, better to shoot I suppose.

They want us to play each other, not like previous pirate game where everyone played against the mediocre talents of the computer pirates just to get credits.If you get stuck playing ai, try to get them sunk quick or they'll take all the credits away. Or let the two ai's fight each other and go after the real ppl that will give you credits for shooting at.
