OIA Pushes Disney's Magical Express Greeters Out of Terminal (3rd floor)

I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, I'm concerned for those doing what I did recently. I met my mother, who was coming from another part of the country, for a Mother's Day trip. All the documentation had been sent to me. She only had carry-ons, and I was able to tell her "Just look for the people with the white Mickey gloves, waving, and they'll direct you to the Welcome Center, where we'll meet up." Now, what would I do? But, on the other hand, even if you have a confirmed limo service, you have to find your own way to the baggage claim area-they don't come up the escalator to meet you on the third floor, even if you're confirmed then, so how come Disney gets to? So I guess I can see their point on this. If the limo companies can't do it even for guests with reservations, how come Disney can? Oh, yeah-maybe it's "money talks"!

Actually, the Greeters won't be allowed on Level 3, but they will be allowed in the baggage claim area...where all the other transportation companies are allowed. Until now, the Disney Greeters have been standing in locations other companies were barred from 'soliciting', so to speak. I'd call that an unfair advantage. If Disney have such a great service it should do them no harm to follow the rules imposed on everyone else.

I thought that they were there to help people find the Magical Express desk, not to "solicit" business. Don't you have to have reservations to use DME?
