Ohanas for dinner at 5:00

Can anyone tell me what Ohanas is like early in the evening and if you had to wait long to be seated at opening? I know it can get pretty loud with all the activities going on but I was able to snag a 5:00 pm reservation instead of the 8:00 pm one I had for this Thursday evening and I am curious if DH and I can expect things to be a little less hectic. Thanks!!

Yes. We've always had early reservations. You will most likely be seated right after they do the little opening ceremony at 5 pm.

we always always book a 5pm ressie and its great! no wait and our dinner is always super!

We have had early reservations twice (5:15 and 5:30) and had very little wait. We thought it was great!

Yes. Gives you a get chance to ask for a table by the window.

We've had a 5pm ADR once and maybe it was a bad night and/or waitress but we won't do it again. The food was not hot and a lil dry, the waitress hardly came by our table to check on us bc she was busy getting her other tables situated. It took 30 min for more food to come around which was thankfully hot of the grill.

I like it early. We had a 4:35 Ohana on Christmas day and it was great. Places like Ohana don't get better as the evening drags on and the servers get tired, the kitchen gets behind and things sit out. And Yes, we had a seat by the window facing MK.

Thanks so much everyone! It's pouring rain here in Orlando but the hubs and I just jumped in a cab and are on our way to Ohanas now. I'm sure we will have a great dinner!

We book a 5:00 ressie every time we go. We're a party of 3 so we always get a window seat I love the early time slot!!

Just enjoyed a lovely dinner at Ohanas and thanks to suggestions on this board we requested and received a window table. The food and service did not disappoint and boy was that bread pudding with ice cream and Carmel sauce yummy! Will definitely do a 5:00 seating again.
