What food is offered there for breakfast? I have eaten here many times for dinner, but never for breakfast. Since it is served family style, is it similar to Whispering Canyon Cafe? Or is there anything with a "Hawaiian" twist?

Eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat, French toast I believe. POG juice is fantastic. It's a character meal, I enjoyed it very much and the food was good, but nothing special.

We had eggs, potatoes, sausages, bacon (I request turkey bacon), bread, fruit and waffles (Mickey and Stitch). It starts with bread and fruit and then the hot skillet arrives at table. But, as PP mentioned, it's all about the juice :love:Love the juice!!! Love that it's served family style and terrific character interaction (in our experiences). We are booked again for this meal in August. Mickey, Pluto, Stitch, Lilo are the characters (usually) and they wear Hawaiian-theme shirts/clothes. We like to request a window view. Enjoyable to look out over the MK.

the juice is tropicalish and the fruit has pineapple in it I think but otherwise it is basic and nothing special. That said when I went it was hot, fresh and yummy and I love stitch and the atmopshere. It is probably only slightly different than the WC skillet - I think the potatoes are a bit different.

The juice is a mixture of orange, papaya, and guava, and is DELICIOUS. The breads and fruit are tropical; the skillet consists of potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and waffles.

We really enjoy the breakfast at Ohana and my DH request it every trip. I like that it's not a buffet and they bring the food to your table, you can ask for more food.
The food has always been freshly prepared and brought right to the table. Unlike buffet breakfast that you don't know how long it's been sitting there.

And don't forget the biscuits!

This by far my favorite meal at Disney. I'm a huge Lilo and Stitch fan and the food, especially the juice, is delicious. Tempted to book here for my solo trip, but still debating.

They also do a parade/conga line type thing for kids to walk around with maracas and the characters which one of my kids enjoyed. Food was good but we went for the characters! They were great

Stitch Juice!
And for when you are not at Disney- you can buy POG juice from Amazon. Or make it yourself- recipe is online :)

Thank you everyone!! I am excited to try this out for breakfast! :stitch:

do it. that is all :)

The first time we tried breakfast at O'hana, we were really excited about how good it was. The juice, fruit and tropical bread they bring out first - very fresh! Then the skillet with all the traditional stuff mentioned, along with Mickey waffles, was great because it was all fresh and hot, and brought to you. I love the buffet character breakfasts, too, but it WAS nice to just stay seated and relaxed while you waited for the gang to come around. Ended up being one of our favorite new dining experiences of that trip. Last trip we went back, knew what to expect and were not disappointed. Enjoy!! :flower1:

lol I did not expect that to end that way :) usually it's "the next trip it was terrible" (not for Ohana, just for most Disney restaurants). We went in 2014 and have it planned for December so glad to hear this!

Oh my goodness that sounds amazing! We've only ever been for dinner. I don't know if I could last the rest of the day if I had eaten that much for breakfast. Of course I say that, but Chef Mickey or the Princess Storybook Breakfast are family favorites.

My family of 6 dined here on July 2nd. We had 830 am reservations and were seated promptly. The service and food were amazing. And, let me say...this was the meal I was least looking forward too. I had NEVER been a fan of the food. This time, EVERYTHING was really good. I would definitely eat here again...Oh, the characters were awesome too. They spent a good deal of time with my young, adult children (16-25).

I think the only reason my DH agrees to go back to DW time and again is because we eat here for Breakfast each trip. And it's all the juice. LOL

It's a wonderful character breakfast. We've enjoyed 3 and going to our 4th this month :)
