O'Hana's Character Breakfast?

Reviews please.....tell all....I've done some moving around with our TS credits and we've decided it would be a cool thing to do our last day. I've gotten a 10:30 AR/PS for that am.....So let's here it.....

We loved it,the food was great...I love the fact it is served to your table..no running up to the buffet & trying to keep the children under control.

The waffles were yummy & the coffee was great.

The character interaction was fab,not at all rushed.Mickey sat at our table for a while.

I will be back next trip.

'Ohana was our very first Character Meal experience. I went with my mom and DD who was 3 at the time- this was in 2002. We all loved it!

We had a PS for 9:30 AM. Checked in at about 9:15, and waited for about 30 minutes. We were seated near the big fire pit, and our "cousin" brought out our drinks and our skillet promptly. Everything was really good- the eggs, potatoes, especially.

Mickey, Goofy, and Chip & Dale all came by a few times. We had fun with them- Goofy seemed to have a little crush on DD- he would pick her up and hug her. Chip and Dale "argued over who got to be in pictures with DD and her Grammy- it was funny! And Mickey was fun, too. He came by and knelt down to kiss DD on the hand.

The kids and characters had a parade around the restaurant, complete with music, and the kids got to shake maracas. DD was in heaven- every time she would pass us, she would get this huge grin on her face- Goofy was near her, and he kept tickling her! She had a ball.

I'd definitely recommend it. The food is good, the character interaction is great, the CMs are friendly, and the Poly itself is really beautiful.

Ditto! Very unrushed, and of course, we love seeing Mickey. Food is basic breakfast stuff, but the pineapple bread is totally yummy!

I agree with all posts above. We've enjoyed this character breakfast every time we've done it and seem to always go back and do it again.

We did a bunch of character meals. We did 'Ohanna the day we left. I would have rather done Kona Cafe. To me 'Ohanna was "ok." Better than CMs but not as good as CP or 1900 Park Fare. The breakfast fare was "normal" not outstanding, but not bad either. Mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, homestyle potatoes, scrambled eggs, fruit salad (watermellon, cantelope, honeydew), and pineapple bread. My kids were more in the mood for pancakes and for the money, I would liked to have chosen my own meal. The character interaction was good and the little parade was fun. For me, in comparison to the other character meals we did, 'Ohanna was average.

It doesn't get any of CRT and Chef Mickey's attention or hype (which in itself may be a good thing). It's usually easy to get a PS here.

We enjoyed Ohana's for the atmosphere and Characters. Food was pretty good and the plus was that they brought it to your table. Chef Mickey's buffet we have always missed someone while we were getting food.....we waited 20 minutes on Mickey to come back around, it was too rushed in my opinion. DD liked the parade thing the kids did as well.

Sounds exactly what we were looking for.....I'm really sold on the "bring it to you" part. We're also doing Libery Tree for this same reason (I KNOW my children ). Will let everyone know how it turns out....
