My grandmother gave me some money for my vacation (about $60) so...

I've booked 'Ohana's breakfast for my and my friend on August 8th!

OK so it's not my thing BUT my friend LOVES Stitch!

I've also booked a car down from our hotel on I-Drive to pick us up and take us there in style!!

I know $60 isn't going to cover it but my GOSH I'm excited!!!!

I can't believe I managed to get 'Ohana's this late on!!

OK so now, when we get dropped off at the Polynesian...where do we go?! Where is the restaraunt?! Is it easy to find?

Stitch WILL be there, right?!

Ohanas is on the secon floor of the main house. I believe Stitch is normally there, I did read a review that said he wasnt there for their ADR but maybe he was on vacation? lol Heres hoping Stitch will be back on duty when your there.

Oh I soooooo hope he's there!
Who else is there with him, besides Lilo? I think I heard Goofy...

When we were there 6/28/06, Stitch was there along with Mickey and Pluto.

Hope you have a great time!

allearsnet.com doesn't mention anything about the Mickey waffles yet everyone seems to get them? Does anyone know if these are still included?

Also the "Seasonal Fruit Bowl for na Keiki (Kids)" - we're two adults, will we still get fruit?

Thanks!

We have been to this breakfast 3 times and we have always had the Mickey Waffles.

I'm pretty sure you get the fruitbowl whether you have kids or not. We have one kid and the fruit bowl looked like it was made for all three of us.

Make sure you try the potatoes, they are the best!!!

For us 'Ohana breakfast is a must do on every trip. Been there many times. Always have gotten the Mickey waffles and the fruit bowl. You'll love it. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Goofy are there currently.

I believe everyone get's fruit. I'm really picky about fruit, for me it needs to be perfectly ripe. The fruit was perfect! Everything else was good too, eggs were runny and I probably should have asked for scrambled eggs well done.

I've heard bad things about the eggs (mainly about them being underdone) but neither of us like eggs so we won't be eating them anyway!

We do VERY MUCH enjoy waffles because it's an AMERICAN breakfast item (one we can't/don't get over here). Fruit is also good. I really hope those two items are on the menu.

I'm more of a "greasy breakfast" girl than my friend so I'll be ploughing into the bacon and sausages and POTATOES (which look FAB), I'm sure my friend won't be able to resist either!

Hi Kath,

I'm curious, have you considered buying a waffle maker to take home with you? (I guess you'd need an outlet converter too). They are very inexpensive and waffles are super easy to make.

Whenever I travel to Europe I always try to buy something that is not a typical souvie and that helps me relive a fond memory.

Just a thought! Enjoy your visit! :wave2:

Perhaps but I have NO IDEA how to make a waffle even if I had the iron...
I'm also not too keen on the idea of dragging the waffle maker around for the remaining three weeks of my vacation....

If you buy one at WDW you can have it shipped home. (or anywhere else, of course)

Oooh good point - isn't that expensive, though?
I do quite fancy the idea of Mickey waffles back and it'd make a nice "family" gift from my trip.

A couple more questions:

We're staying on I-Drive, midway between US and Sea World. Our car is arriving at 7.15am, to take us to the Poly for our 8.30am ADR. Do you think this is enough time? Too much time? What could we do if we were there early (doubt this one, given Orlando traffic!)?

How long do you estimate it would take to get from the Poly to AK? Is taking the bus direct from the Poly the fastest way, or should we take the monorail to the TTC and get the bus from there?

Hi Kath, I've just PM'd you. I'm about 99.9% sure we know each other! Hope you enjoy O'hana. We are going for the third time in a row this january and definitely going to O'hana. We had booked the Poly to stay in originally but now we;re staying in CBR and going to NY too...and vistana villages!

Looking forward to finding out if you are who i think you are
