O'Hana's and EWP

Hi

We (DH, DD and I) are going to WDW in Dec. DH is really wanting to eat at O'Hana's for dinner.
My question is what time should we make PS's so that we can watch the EWP go by?
Also do you think I could book it now or will I have to wait till 90 days, we are staying offsite?

Can't answer the question about time, but can tell you that we too are wanting to eat at Ohana's in early December, are staying on site and were unable to make a reservation yet. I was told 90 days out. I have also read that FITS is at 6-6:30ish in December, right after park closing at 6.

Squitty - I'm not sure about the time of the EWP (although I'd like to know, too!) but I say call and at least try to make the PS. I have made a couple more PS's since the new rules, and am still outside my 90-day mark. I don't know why they would be letting me and not others, but it's worth a try to see if they will let you make one, also. May just depend on the person you talk to. Good luck!

According to the information on Deb Wills' site, the EWP generally passes by the Poly at around 9 pm.

You guys must be lucky! Just tried to get PS for O'Hana's for Dec 4th and at first sounded like I was going to as he asked me what time but then said I had to wait until 90 days out!

What is an ewp? I have eaten at O'Hana's but I am unfamiliar with the abbreviation.
