OhanaFamily Clan's last trip to WDW before the baby is born / TAG Meet

on the way, we had our last childless trip to WDW. We left on Saturday, 10/9/2004. I got off work and headed home to pick up RRBB, Nieceosaurus, and Nephosaurus. I helped pack up a little and checked in online. We got our upgrade WOO HOO!! I posted a goodbye and Cousin Eddie picked us up. Off we went to the airport...

We checked our bags, went through gun control and went to the Admirals Club. The internet was down so we couldn't dis while we were waiting. We got on the Airplane, tucked the kids under the seat in front of us and flew to Orlando. It was a bumpy flight, we went through a little of Matthew. We showed our baby pictures to the flight attendant.

After we landed and retrieved our luggage we went out front and waited for a Taxi. We have found that a cab is about the same as the Mies Shuttle, and a lit more convenient. He was low on gas, so we got a free grocery stop at a 7-11; pop-tarts, water, milk, and cereal.

We checked into the Beach Club Villas, and miraculously got all of our requests!!!!! No Smoking, Top Floor, EPCOT View, close to an elevator. Studio Sized are a little small, but there is still a refrigerator and toaster. We forgot to forgot to photograph the room, but we unpacked and got ready for bed. Nephosaurus turned on the Television and watched Krista and top 7 things to do at Disney world. I liked Zippy better...

Snore, Snore, Snore... we slept with visions of Magic Kingdom Dancing in our heads.

On Day 2, Sunday. We slept in, and were awoken by the knock on the door. there was a beautiful baby gift from the Orange Divas. It was so very lovely...

There was also a gift from an anonymous friend ([COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR])

We went into EPCOT, Snacked around England and Canada. We tried to get into Garden Grill but were not successful. We went into the Figment Ride (JIYI), we waited in line for Space Ship Earth. After the journey into time, we chatted with some people at the end of the ride. We asked about what was going to happen with the ride and were not given much info. There is a rumor about Nextel Sponsoring it, but not much else. We then went on a hunt for Hippos. We have a standard contest prize in the TAGLIARCHY of a hippo. We had brought Beany Babies, but were looking for more....

When we got back to the room, there was another basket from [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] and Deadheadbelle.

After a relaxing nap, we rushed up front to wait for a taxi to take us to Jico's for our TAG MEET #1. We met at the bar, exchanged gifts and nail polish colors...

We had Tigger Fans! & geffric via satellite relay

In attendance were [COLOR=CC0099]39CINDERELLA[/COLOR], her DH, [COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR], HuggaBaloo, His DP "Ray", [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR], [color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color], [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR], Bichon Barb, Lewski709, Nephosaurus, Nieceosaurus, RRBB, and me (ohanafamily). We Talked, chatted, talked and talked...Oh, and we ate too...

(Don't ask me what that spot is on some of the photos. I'd say it was something on the camera lens but the spot is in a different place each time. )

After we closed down Jico's [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] drove us back to our resort and we ended day 2 quite happily...and satisfied. We had met some people who we know more about (and they about us) than our own families, and we are all good friends in person too.

NOT, We were at WDW!!!!!!!!!

We slept in again, and it was raining HARD. We were getting a rain dump from Matthew, the storm. We packed the kids inside their traveling backpack, donned our Yellow Rain Poncho's and headed into EPCOT through the back entrance. RRBB and I wanted to try Garden Grill again, no luck. I suggested Chinese. Nephosaurus liked the name of the restaurant, "The 9 Dragons", but felt that while we were there it was the 11 Dragons... I couldn't believe it, Dim Sum on the menu (Yum). Not a huge list, but I haven't had good Dim Sum in years. Oh well, I got a couple of appetizers that RRBB could eat, I got the General Chicken, and she got the Honey Walnut Chicken. Hers was better.....

After we finished Lunch, I go a call from [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR]. She was drinking at the bar in Japan. We headed over to join them, butt were delayed by an open bridge. Every day they bring out the firewors and we got to see the globe from Illuminations up close. It was wet, so we didn't get any pictures. We made it to the bar, chatted with [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] and b][color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color][/b] while they finished off their Sushi. We made a plan for the afternoon, and set out for Ellen's Energy Adventure. We wanted to go to the Wonders of Life Pavilion to see "The Making Of Me" (I mean we need to figure out where [color=3399FF]T[/color][color=0066CC]a[/color][color=3399FF]g[/color] [color=0066CC]B[/color][color=3399FF]a[/color][color=0066CC]b[/color][color=3399FF]y[/color] [color=0066CC]T[/color][color=3399FF]i[/color][color=0066CC]g[/color][color=3399FF]g[/color][color=0066CC]e[/color][color=3399FF]r[/color]

came from, but it is now seasonal and was closed.)

We entered Ellen's bad dream and emerged with a knowledge of how energy is produced, and the kids liked seeing the Dinosaurs. We all went to the rest room, I got out first and tried to snarf down a Mickey Sand which. I was caught and gave up an ear to the wife. The girls got Mickey bars, and while RRBB was talking away I snuck an ear... She was a little surprised when she saw it missing...

Our next stop was a wine tasting. It was very interesting, and the kids liked glass #4 best...

After that was sauntered over to Germany, and celebrated Octoberfest... Pictures to follow, I have to check with the family before posting pictures of the kids dancing the Chicken Dance...

After Dinner, we walked outside and found a good spot to watch Illuminations. That show is always wonderful...

Every evening has an ending... we bid goodnight to [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] and [color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color] on the bridge between England ad France. Walked through the International Gateway and went home for the evening. Happy thoughts, Full Tummies, and sleepy Dragons...

Tuesday Morning we actually set up a wake-up call. Mickey woke us up, Nephosaurus picked it up. We rushed to get ready and catch the bus to The Magic Kingdom! I rushed over to get our MNSSHP tickets while RRBB dealt with the kids and security. Just as I was getting the tickets, they made it over to the line. We walked into MK and took a moment to smile at the castle. We power walked over to the Crystal Palace where we found [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] waiting for us. It seems that [color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color] thought shopping at the outlet mall was more important... hmmph. We waited for a few more minutes, and the Orange Divas showed up to pass the reservation on to us and skip breakfast (Harummph), As [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR] was downsizing our reservation, [COLOR=CC0099]39CINDERELLA[/COLOR]'s DH showed up and she had to add them back... Oh, one more thing, [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] and Deadheadbelle had canceled previously... The Big Tag meet was down to 7. Oh well, it was their loss. I will say that the Breakfast Lasagna was the best I have ever had it, and Pooh Bear had seen us on the Dis. We had a fantastic conversation with AngieBell, I am not sure how to spell her Dis user name, but She really loves her job!!!!!. [COLOR=CC0099]39CINDERELLA[/COLOR]'s DS was a little shy of the characters, but he actually started to warm up to them. Oh, and he had the cutest haircut (why they were late) from the Main Street Barber Shop!!! We actually closed the breakfast seating down.

We left The Palace in quest of Star Command!. RRBB and I were in one car, [COLOR=CC0099]39CINDERELLA[/COLOR] had 2 cars, and [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] had the kids. Guess who got the high score??? it was Nephosaurus, I think he has been practicing.....

After getting trounced on by the Dragon, we rode the Carousel of Progress. I love that ride. After we finished, we saw b][color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color][/b] getting on the TTA, so we followed. When we got off of the ride, we found her and rode it 2 more times... We all love that ride!!!

Next b][color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color][/b] and I rode Space mountain; we were about to get in line and someone gave us her FastPass. Cool, we walked on and were done real quick. I was having trouble seeing in the dark of the line, and b][color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color][/b] kept running away from me. I caught up to her and we had a great trip...

Another ride we all really like is Philharmagic. We went on that next, then on to the Haunted Mansion. We caught the show at the Country Bear Jamboree, and it was time for Dinner.

We got to Liberty Tree a few minutes before our PS, and waited until the time in hopes we could reconnect with [COLOR=CC0099]39CINDERELLA[/COLOR] and family. We actually found a seat where we could watch the door. We got another surprise, Minnie Mouse gave us the sigh that she knew us!!!! Wow, It was really incredible the number of Dis-ers who recognized us this trip. Nieceosaurus changed into her Tinkerbell costume, and Nephosaurus was sorcerer Mickey again.

As we left the restaurant we headed for Fantasy land, but were sent back around to Tomorrow land via the front of the castle (IOU we had to walk around...) We rode Buzz Light year again, then TTA, and again as it got dark... We love that ride. We then started the hunt for CANDY. We also wanted to check out Toon Town for [color=3399FF]T[/color][color=0066CC]a[/color][color=3399FF]g[/color] [color=0066CC]B[/color][color=3399FF]a[/color][color=0066CC]b[/color][color=3399FF]y[/color] [color=0066CC]T[/color][color=3399FF]i[/color][color=0066CC]g[/color][color=3399FF]g[/color][color=0066CC]e[/color][color=3399FF]r[/color]

Next we went to Peter Pan's Flight of Fancy, were going to do Jungle Cruise at night... We got sidetracked and watched the parade. We went to find a spot for Wishes, and plopped down to wait. Well, It was actually Fantasy in the Sky (modified), and I got it on tape...

[COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] and [color=FF33CC]PixieMagic[/color] left us, and we still had a little steam... We went on Jungle cruise... Night is OK, but a novelty. Actually, there is one part when you go into a dark cave. They turned down the lights to make it more scary... I made it really scary; I started to sing Small World (heheheh).

Next We did the Tiki Room. It Rained while we were in there... They delayed the next parade.

The kids were tired, we were starting to give out, but we wanted to see Philharmagic one more time....

It was a really good night.

Actually, we had a great breakfast too. I like to think of it as no one lost, everyone won.

Their loss? Actually, we had a lovely day at Typhoon Lagoon & we enjoyed the breakfast lasagna on Thursday!!!

But I know what you mean, I wish we all could have played more......ah well, I'll keep picking up lottery tickets here and there in hopes of bringing all my pals back to WDW for another gala gathering!
