Seriously, WDW should just add another Ohana and make twice the insane amount of money. My trip dates are Sept 24-Oct 8, I scheduled an Ohana dinner for late night on our arrival night, Sept 24, and I was on at 7 am booking it and was still only able to get 9:15 pm. Since then I have been searching for a dinner ADR for 2 for almost any other night in the trip, and if I find anything at all I never find anything before 9.

All right, mini rant over.

I don't get why, if so many people hate it, it's still so popular!

I would have thought Cinderella's Royal Table would be more popular since you know, it's at the castle.

That's what cracks me up too. It was/is the same with LeCellier. Everytime there is a thread about these restaurants, people can't post fast enough how much they didn't like them, how they are overrated, and how they'll never go back - yet you still can't get decent ADRs.

Sept. 28-oct.7.... Nadda..our agent called at the 180 day mark...we might have gotten in at 9:30...but with two kids under 10, that wasnt going to fly :rotfl2:

We have never been, but heard good reviews...i will keep trying, but not looking good..wonder if I Can convince hubby (nondisney fan) that i need another trip back...:rolleyes1

you won't hear any complaints about Ohana from me, I absolutely adore it. especially when I am on free dining.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, momtoamulan, a meal at Ohana may very well make him a WDW fan :thumbsup2

Don't give up hope of finding a reservation! I was looking to change my 'Ohana reservation to Father's Day. After days of checking every time I was on the computer, I finally found one had opened up at 6:35, and this is for a party of 8! Keep checking, and you never know what you might find!

It might be because the day you could book yours, there were 10 other days where other ppl could book . That was my problem. I had it early in our trip. Only 930 times... moved it to later in our trip(at the 180day mark) and got a 705

I will keep trying...my reluctant hubby wanted to try eating there...maybe that would make him a disney fan after? :rotfl: We can only hope!:thumbsup2

Come on Sept...cNt believe I want it to be Sept. alreay to surprise our girls with our trip!

princess:Me :sad2:Reluctant hubby princess: dd age 9 princess: dd age 5

I guess I was lucky, I got it for 5:05 the day I wanted with several choices.

I swear it goes in waves. When I was researching my girls' first WDW trip it was CRT. I remember practicing my phone call- i.e. how few words I could use and how quickly I could clearly say them when calling to try and land a CRT spot at 7am. :lmao: Of course, by the time I was ready to book...Le Cellier had leap frogged CRT for that most coveted spot and the website was in full swing and the better option for booking. So, I just quietly booked CRT by the glow of my laptop on day 180. As soon as Le Cellier went signature for dinner- 'Ohana took over that top spot. And I'm sure once Be Our Guest starts taking ADRs...all of these spots will go back to being difficult, but not the hardest thing to get.

I do think that 'Ohana, while booking up quickly, has better odds for spots opening up within the last few weeks before trip time. Maybe it's b/c it's a resort restaurant...but we've had so much luck w/'Ohana about a week or two out and all I can figure is that people decide they don't want to leave the parks to dine.

Of course DH told me he doesn't want to dine at 'Ohana this trip :rolleyes1, so the pressure was off...but not until I spent 5 days of stalking trying to upgrade our time slot. Oh well.

I'm hoping people cancel due to the reservation fee, if they change their minds. Then a spot will open up....

Have always had problems getting an ADR at O'Hana's until today. Got requested time - 6:30 pm - on 12/2/2012. In fact, ended up with requested times at all restaurants including Kona, Via Napoli, Narcoossee's, Yak & Yeti, and Yachtsmen. Only problem was that I had to call them in as the online system would not allow me to make reservations beyond day 180 even with a room reservation.

You mean you still haven't figured it out that people just say they hate 'Ohana, so there will be available for when they want to book? I'm unashamedly a huge 'Ohana fan, it's a "must do" every time we go to WDW!
