Well another day and another small review on where we at in early June. We ate at Ohana twice (a family tradition) and after several reviews on being rushed I decided to time and see if this effected us. On our first dinner (both were at 20:00 hours) everything was slow and easy going. What stood out on that night was how good the grilled chicken was, my daughter asked for more of the noodles (her reason for going) and it took maybe 3 minutes for them to deliver. What stand out was how good our waiter was without being asked. When desert was served he brought out 2 large platters for 8 people. One of my daughters elderly relatives a great aunt grabbed one platter and said MINE is a rather loud manner. The waiter gave her the platter walked to the back and brought a 3rd platter. He got a 25% tip for that. The 2nd meal I did see what some people are complaining about. Before we even got the chicken wings and noodles a waitress was trying to give us the chicken. I just smiled and told her later. The waiter with the steak come around and I sent him away as well. I take my time there and they just smiled and did as we asked. The 2nd meal we were close enough to the windows that the girls got a spectacular view of the fireworks. We say none of the coconut races and heard anyone playing music either time but we still love the place. Sadly my girls love the place to much that they are insisting on staying at the Poly for our 2021 trip.
