I just wanted to report that we loved the food and the atmosphere of Ohana. We went for 9 nights on the dining plan. Ohana was by far the best place we ate. Here is our list:

Ohana : The best. Everything was outstanding. Food and Entertainment.

Capt-N-Jacks : Was awesome. Had the lobster. Loved it.

Chef Mickey's : Fun and entertaining. OK food.

1900 Park Fare : Food was good. Stepsisters and stepmother were fabulous.

Spoodles : Very good food. Some unique foods. Loved the Boardwalk.

San Angel Inn : OK. Personally like the counterservice in Mexico better.

Boma : Horrible. All 12 people in our party though so. Would never do again.

Coral Reef : Again just Ok. Not a must do but not bad.

Le Cellier : Great steak. Probably ranked as third for me. Slightly overated.

Tony's Town Square : Always very good food and service.

I would definetly do Capt-N-Jack's, Le Cellier, Spoodles, Tony's, And 1900 Park Fare ( for the entertainment) again.

Ohana will be a must do for us every time we go.

I will never again do Boma.

Coral Reef, Chef Mickey, San Angel Inn are all possible.

As always Disney is a great experience.

This is good to hear - I'm looking at Ohana for our arrival night, and had seen some poor and so - so reviews so I think I'll stick with it. Thanks!

Did The DDP cover the lobster at Captain Jacks? We are planning to go there and we LOVE lobster!!

:drinking1 :drinking1 We had ADR's for every day of our trip in 2005 and of everywhere we ate, Ohana was our favorite. Of course the Lapu Lapu helped

Did you have Boma for breakfast or dinner?

And, our family has to agree, 'Ohana rocks!!!!!!!!!1

I'm glad to hear a good review of Ohana. Might I ask why you disliked Boma so much though? :confused3 That is a must-do for me.

I thought all of the food tasted the same. I really did not care for the spice they put on what seemed like everything. The only thing I sort of liked was the sweet potatos. My mom did not mind the corn bread ( meely bread). Other than that no one in our group liked the meal. I guess everyone likes different things.

What is it you liked about Ohana?

It was OK but I wouldn't go next trip. I really liked the salad but there wasn't enough dressing. The shrimp was WAY overcooked and tough. The fried wontons didn't taste anything better than what comes home in my chinese order. The wings were OK. The potatoes were delicious. The meats were OK.

The dessert Bannanas Foster Bread Pudding al la mode was worth the trip. Very good.

The service was slow!!!

The woman doing the entertainment sounded forced and with so many kids on the dance floor for the games it was too crowded. She couldn't get any adult to volunteer to lead the parade and went to every table pleading with everyone.

The fireworks were wonderful to see. We hadn't planned it but it was a nice benefit.

It ended up overall to be so-so.

Our experience at Ohana was completely different. The food was excellent from appetizer to dessert. The best we have had at Disney. The service was fantastic our "Cousin" was a great server. We thought the entertainment was great it kept the children very busy and several adults joined in. Everyone in our party had a great time. I could not even say what I liked best. Everything was perfect.
