I'm booked for mid-May Ohana reservation at 6:40. I was hoping to get feedback on if the seating check in system has improved in recent years! Is it still chaotic? Will we have to wait an hour and a half as a lot of people have had to before? I'm using touringplans to hopefully get a really early reservation soon....

We are heading WDW at the end of March and was able to snag a 9:45 pm reservation. Not sure if we will keep it only because with our 9 year old it might be too late, but all the dinner options left for every day of our stay are for around the same time. Hopefully the wait to be seated won't be that long. How kid friendly is the food there?

I want to say a 9:45pm shouldn't have that long of a wait since it's so late at night. If your kids are carnivores it should be no problem! Plus, they have special kids meals upon request, I believe! Plus the dumplings are always yummy :)

The last 2 times we have been we waited less than 15 minutes. Our kids have always loved the food at Ohana. Very kid friendly from our perspective.

We've had dinner at 'Ohana 4 times and have only waited past our ADR once. Last year we checked in super early so we could sit at the bar and have a drink and we got paged before our drinks even came up.

What time did you have your reservations for? I know they go very quickly when they open.

One was 7:30pm and if I remember, the other was 6 or 6:30ish. There was one time we waited over an hour. It was a very late ADR, we had a large group (13 people) and had requested to close to the window overlooking MK. By the time we were seated, the kids just wanted to sleep..lol We go to Ohana just about every trip as it is one of our favorites and that is the only time we had an issue with being seated. You should be able to get an ADR, if not just recheck it consistently and always check once you arrive at WDW. Many times people will release ADR's closer to their trip or even the day before because it may not fit their schedule. Good Luck!

PS...the Potstickers and Bread Pudding is AWESOME!

There is typical kids food available and your server will gladly get your child a burger, grilled cheese, mac and cheese, etc. I would let your child try the Ohana food first, and if there is nothing they like, ask your server.

We just had dinner at Ohana last week, and were paged within 15 min of checking in. This was January, so your experience may be different. We had a 7:45 reservation, checked in at about 7:30, and got seated right around 7:45. We got really lucky and had a window seat for Wishes, without asking! It was also just 2 of us.
