Ohana question

We are going to Ohana's on our next trip- I have read here that if you want to participate in the kids activities during dinner, ask to sit ....where? In the front of the restaurant, in front of fire....where???? DS wants to play so I want to make sure I get the "lingo" to ask the right place to sit....

they announce it via a mic so you can sit anywhere but the races are in the center in front of the fire pit if you want a good view of your kids in action. we were seated to the rear and right of the pit and couldn't see a thing!( not aproblem since neither hubby or I wanted to race) you could probably just tell the hostess you would like to be able to see and they would accomadate you if possible.
