We are taking a 7-day land/sea package in May. We have three nights at the Polly then we are off to the cruise portion of our vacation. Problem is this....we wanted to eat at three restaurants, LeCellier, O'hana and the Luau. The first day we arrive, we will be in the Magic Kingdom. We don't want to have to rush back to the hotel for dinner so we thought that we would eat in the park. We already booked the luau. We have one dinner left and two restaurants to choose from LeCellier and O'hana. The day that we planned to be in Epcot (2 hours only) we got a ps for LeCellier but I am wondering now if that is a mistake. Maybe we should have planned to head back to the hotel to eat at O'Hana. Anyone have a preference between the two and if so, why? I am so confused. So little time and so much to do!

We've been to both and I MUCH prefer 'Ohana. LeCellier was OK, but nothing special IMO. "Ohana on the other hand was an experience. The waitstaff was awesome and the food plentiful and delicious and most likely different than what you would normally go out to dinner for whereas I felt that LeCellier is very overrated. Be sure to have a PS though if you decide to go. We met some friends while on vacation and they were unable to get a PS there.

Have fun!

We definitely enjoy Le Cellier, but I agree that 'Ohana is not just a good meal, it is an experience. We took friends and family there for their first time last November, and everyone just adored it (ages from 3 to 65).

Don't miss the awesome and STRONG rum drinks from the adjacent Tambu Lounge.

Enjoy!

We've had great experiences at both so I think you will be happy which ever you choose. However, since you are already going to the Luau I wonder if Le Cellier would be a better choice than Ohana simply because although not exactly the same, the food is similar at the luau and Ohana. It would be totally different food and atmosphere at Le Cellier. I LOVE the bread they bring out, their prime rib is good but the filet with mushrooms is wonderful. I'm not knocking Ohana at ALL, and if you want to stay with that tropical feel you won't go wrong. I just think that going to the luau one night and Le Cellier another would be a nice contrast.

Depends what you are looking for and whether you want to see the fireworks at EPCOT. I think Illuminations is a great show and would hate to miss it on a trip. Plus, 2 hours is not much time for EPCOT--particularly when you consider how long it takes to get out there and back.

If you have kids, Ohana is fun. I think it s less fun without kids. Ohana is louder; Le Cellier is quiet.

My family prefers the food at Le Cellier, but enjoyed the activity at Ohana.

For us, if we could had to choose between Ohana and Le Cellier, we would choose Le Cellier.

The problem is that we only have two dinners for our entire stay. We want to do all three restaurants but that is almost impossible. There are ten of us total. My husband and I have two 6 year olds and my brother-in-law has three teenagers. They told us that LeCellier would be putting us at three tables (hopefully together) but that they couldn't promise anything. We are not overly thrilled with Epcot. My bil wants to get a stein and the kids want to try the new mission space ride and test track. Other than that, we don't want to do anything else there. We are heading over to Fantasmic after dinner. Should be a mad rush.

You could do LeCellier for lunch, then O'hana for dinner. We did Le Cellier for lunch as I was bound and determined to have the cheese soup (and it was delish!!). O'Hana's is a great experience, and not one to rush thru. Depending on what time Fantasmic & Wishes is, you COULD do a late lunch at LeCellier, head to MGM for Fantasmic then have a late dinner at O'Hana's and maybe catch Wishes if it's at say 9pm or later.

Well, I love Le Cellier - but we were there probably 1 1/2 hours and it was just 3 of us for lunch! I don't see how a party that large could do anything BUT eat in 2 hours!

I haven't eaten at O'Hana's.

Well, it would be easier to get to fantasmic from EPCOT--you just take the boat. However, your 6 year olds will love Ohana. I think you will be happy with either. (That said, we decided next time we go to Ohana we will treat it as an evening activity--as opposed to just a meal.)

No help here. Those our 2 of our favorite restaurants and must dos for each trip. My girls (5 and 8) though would probably give a nod to O'hanas for atmosphere and food. I'm sure yours would love it as well.
