O'hana or Chef Mickey Breakfast

Our next trip we are finally venturing out and trying a few new places...its hard to believe that we have never tired Ohana or Chef Mickey for breakfast! What place would you recommend?

I would think it would depend on which characters your children would be happiest to see. I've heard nothing but good things about Ohana's breakfast. CM on the other hand, is a mixed bag. We are doing both on our next trip though...just to say...been there, done that!

we've never been before, but we are planning on chef mickey's for dinner and ohana for breakfast with lilo and stitch. good luck with your decision

We would pick 'Ohana
The fresh fruit is wonderful !
So are the other items and it's the only place you see Lilo and Stitch with Mickey and Pluto (usually).
Having your breakfast brought to you and not being a buffet gives you less dirty little hands and no sneezes on your food.

There are many other places to see Mickey - Garden Grill dinner, in EPCOT, is a wonderful sit down place to eat - with also having the food brought to your table and no dirty little hands and no sneezes on your food.
At Garden Grill you will see Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

We loved 'Ohana too. I would pick that over Chef Mickey's if I couldn't do both.

I am probably in the minority, but my family and I did not have a positive dining experience at CM.....
My two toddlers waited FOREVER for at least one character to come to us
When I say forever...we were a party of 10 most of the adults had made 2 trips to the buffet and we were finished eating JUST WAITING FOR A CHARACTER ANY CHARACTER!!!
Our character dining experience was AWESOME at CP!! Much better than CM??!! GO figure!
I was so disappointed. WE were looking forward to CM so much!

I agree. We are doing O'hanas breakfast for the first time....my DH is really excited about this one . We have done CM for dinner and it was fine, we were there more for the characters. We are also are trying out GG for dinner because it has Mickey, Pluto, and Chip and Dale which are my DD8's favorite characters....plus both DDs think the restaurant looks cool when it rotates as you eat.

O Hanna's....hands down. I've been to both. Don't get me wrong, Chef Mickey's is great but like someone above me said...it's a buffet. OHanna's gives you a warm and friendly welcome and the food is brought to your table. (it's all you care to eat, if you want more of something, just ask). The juice they serve is wonderful. You have a nice view also. Good Luck on your decision.

My sons ( 7 & 9) and I just did both Ohana & CM on our trip. They are both good, just different. CM is busier and you do have to go up to the buffet for your food, whereas it is "family style" @ Ohana. My kids aren't huge fans of Lilo & Stitch, so they like CM more, but they did enjoy Ohana. FWIW, we did both breakfast & dinner at CM and never had a long wait for characters. If I had to pick one of the character breakfasts, I'd skip both of those and go to Tusker House, You can get into DAK before it opens to the public, which is very cool. Good photo ops with no one around. Excellent selection of food, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy come to the table (You meet Donald before entering). 8am ADR gets you out around 9am, just as the Park opens, giving you the opportunity to get right on Kilamanjero Safari, or Everest.
