We had AMAZING weather for the first 6 days of the cruise. Each port was just lovely, with awesome fall colors!
Then on our last night the boat rocked with huge swells...not like puking sick but enough to make you not want to do stuff!
Have a wonderful cruise! We got married on the Magic in 2012, so it holds a special place in my heartIt's a beautiful ship!
Oh how lovely! It's such a beautiful ship and I love the size of it, just perfect for getting around.

Haha it is definitely feasible, takes some planning but as long as everyone is OK in dealing with the heat...it can be done and you can still enjoy yourself too!

Love CS's tsum tsum dress! It's almost impossible to find tsum tsum clothing for adults (I have one shirt that's a large kids one that fits me).

) This is necessary with O'hana...so much delish food it requires a fast before lol.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been away for a while...I have some major catching up to do with everyone's TRs and PTRs as well as my own!
But we're back from our fall trip, and it was amazing! I have a few teaser pictures posted on my PTR in this post. The cruise was spectacular, I loved Marvel Day at Sea, and we loved the Canadian coast! So pretty!
Our trip to WDW was super fun, packed full of activities, and we got to see Halloween and Christmas decorations over the course of the week...pretty cool, although I personally think it's a bit too early for Christmas. I mean, we just celebrated Halloween and then the next day, bam it's Holiday season!
Will be back hopefully within the next few days with more August family TR updates!

Haha, it was for those of us who considered it a rite of passage. I'm sure there were some annoyed guests. Although everyone who was with us seemed to think it was cool and we all took pictures.

Cows was delicious!! I really really loved the ports we visited. Except for Sydney, but we didn't do an excursion so we only saw a small portion and there really isn't anything much to do, but walking around the water and port area were just beautiful.

Day 4 Part 2: 'Ohana Challenge
When we returned to the Poly after our morning at DHS (minus Chunkysis who headed over to MK), we decided to go to the pool to cool off. Apparently that was everyone's idea too because both pools were packed. I opted to stay in the smaller pool and sit at the bar area with a Lava flow.
It was good and gone in about 2 seconds, haha. I tried to go swimming but the water temperature was just too warm for my liking and didn't exactly cool me off so I ditched everyone and decided to get some laundry done. I had never done laundry at the Poly before so I didn't know where the laundry room was but Marc gave me directions. Apparently they had done laundry twice already LOL. The fun when you travel with babies.
I brought the laundry out and while it was in the dryer I showered and changed for dinner. Laundry was done just in time before our ADR. Want to know where to get some peace and quiet? Sit in the laundry room, haha.
Meanwhile CS had a successful meet with Pooh and Tigger where she got to show off her dress.
"Oh look, there's you and you!"
CS came back to the resort before dinner...she changed and snuck up to the 2nd floor. I kept telling her to take the stairs one flight up just to get some exercise but she'd never listen. This is her sneaking out of the elevator thinking I didn't notice but meanwhile I was stalking her like papparazzi.
By this time everyone was at the Main Ceremonial House so I checked in and got a pager. Soon we were called to our very large table set up for us. I'm sorry I forgot to take a picture of the pineapple bread they serve you at first but here it is in the background of our very yummy salad.
Mixed Greens Salad with a Lilikoi dressing
Soon after our salad course, the kids meals arrived. I didn't even think I knew they had a separate kids menu but there were chicken fingers, fries and mac n cheese. I was so happy, probably even more excited than the kids. There was so much food, more than all the kids could eat so the adults partook of a bit as well.

Our appetizer platter:
Pork Dumplings tossed in Garlic-Ginger Sauce, Honey Coriander Chicken Wings, Noodles in Teriyaki Sauce, Stir fried Veggies, and apparently Egg Rolls.
I was surprised at seeing the little egg rolls! I had never gotten them before! (And we didn't when we went last week) so maybe it's reserved for larger parties? Maybe they only have it sometimes? Dunno, but it was a nice addition, although I can't remember if they were good or not so must have been pretty average.
Everyone really enjoyed the food so far. And now the meats were starting. Sorry I don't have pictures of the meat but the shrimp skewers were a big hit with my BIL Kevin. He loves shrimp. We asked our server what is the most shrimp anyone has eaten at 'Ohana. He said 6 skewers. Each skewer holds 25 shrimp. So that's 150 shrimp! But the CM said it wasn't all the person ate as well, he ate a lot of the other meats too. So Kevin and Steve had a little eating contest to see who could eat more shrimp.

In contrast Marc doesn't like shrimp or shellfish (unless it's deep fried), so he was not into the shrimp, haha.
The competition is fierce!!
Steve is very competitive in everything and he always stayed ahead. He would get the same amount of shrimp that Kevin got but then he'd add on a couple more more so he'd always be ahead. In the end, I think Kevin ate 2 skewers and Steve ate 2 skewers plus 2 shrimp. Nuts.
The aftermath:
Well for sure they got their money's worth!!

Finally after all the carnage was taken away and Steve was crowned the champion who reigned supreme, they brought out 3 of these beauties (sauce on the side):
'Ohana bread pudding with bananas foster sauce and vanilla ice cream
No words can express how much we all loved this. It was perfect!! My sisters said it was just as good as they remember!
Boy we were so full when we left...but mostly Steve and Kevin though, haha.
It didn't stop us from a picture in front of 'Ohana with my Ohana which Kelly kindly took for us:
After dinner, everyone else rolled back to their longhouses but me, Steve, CS, and Kelly went to Epcot for EMH!!
Kelly and I walked all the way to World Showcase and got some drinks and a nice spot to watch Illuminations. Steve went to ride...TT or Soarin' I think. and CS went to take character pictures, of course.
I got Kelly and I some grey goose slushies and we just watched the fireworks from France near the wall where the easels are. There were not many people around at all!
Yummy slushies!
CS went to Character Spot. Yes she did change into her Mickey dress again.
We also had a chance to DISmeet up with @KathyM2 and her DD! We rode Soarin' a few times and then I think we did Figment too.

So great meeting at WDW Kathy! And then again in NYC!!
It was a fun night in Epcot although it was pretty hot and sticky, but certainly beats being here in the worst heat during the day.
So now back to the Poly and some rest!

Mmmmm, I just discovered that drink on our trip last year and it is SOOOOOO good!!! I drank many of them at the Petals pool bar at Pop!

Glad to hear you had a fun fall trip! So bummed I was leaving as you were arriving. I had fun seeing pics on Instagram and look forward to the TR.
This may be shocking but I’ve never been to O’Hana. I have had my share of Lapu Lapus at the bar though!!
I also did laundry this past trip and found it very relaxing. Who knew??

Haha, I think you can get the dessert at the Tambu lounge now. I wanted to do that on the trip but no one was hungry enough at any time when we were back at the Poly.
I also did laundry this past trip and found it very relaxing. Who knew??
I know!! I think it's like you're forced to just do nothing for an hour and you can finally relax, haha.
