alright.. I lost my notes I have been taking for the last month off these boards (grumble) & I have tried doing a search...... (but do you realize how many threads & posts there are??? egads).

ok, for those of you who have been to 'Ohanas recently,, what are the drinks they are offering?? someone mentioned a couple that sounded good, but I jsut know , without the specific names, I wil order the wrong ones!!!

thanks!! :goodvibes

I had a back scratcher, it was fruity & came with a back scratcher. I also had a strawberry colada, it was yummy.

I love the Lapu Lapu. :sunny: It's just so great to drink out of a pineapple!!! :banana:

DH had their Pina Colada and I have to say, it was one of the best I've ever tasted.

I had the Lapu Lapu, and I didn't think it was all that. It was pricey, but it tasted like alcohol. I like my drinks to taste non-alcoholic, with alcohol! ;)

My dh had the Malibu Macaw, and it was really good. Much better, and slightly cheaper, than the Lapu.

Just got back from 'Ohanas. Ate there on Thursday Oct 20. List of tropical drinks they offer:

Back-Scratcher: light and dark rum, passion fruit juice and finished with Jack Daniel's $8.75

Island Sunset: spiced rum, malibu, melon liquer, and peach schnapps combined with guava passion fruit juice $8.00

Lapu Lapu: Myer's rum and tropical juices werved in a pineapple topped with "Bacardi 151" $10.99

Wasabi Bloody Mary: absolut peppar, wasabi, spices and blended tomato juice $7.75

Trade Winds: Malibu and Myer's rum, banana liquer, and blackberry brandy combined with pina colanada mix and a dash of grenadine $8.00

Malibu Macaw: malibu rum, melon liquer blended with fresh pineapple and cranberry juices $7.75

~~~
We tried the back-scratcher and the lapu lapu. Back-scratcher comes with an actual backscratcher, and lapu-lapu is served from a carved-out pineapple. Too strong alcoholic taste for my liking, so DH finished them both.
I had the Island sunset and it was wonderful! I can't wait to have another one...or maybe two! :drinking: ;)
The Zombie is close in taste to the Lapu-Lapu, you don't get the pineapple, but it's cheaper and has the same end result. :earseek:
Last week I had the Malibu McCaw and DH had the Lapu Lapu both were yummy!
