Saw in one of these posts that there is a drink that we should not miss at O
O'hana. Can someone tell me which drink it is. We love tropical drinks.
Can't find it anywhere.
Thanks:bounce: :bounce:

Not sure if this is the one you're referring to, but the Lapu Lapu is great!!::yes:: It is the one served in a pineapple. Can't wait to have another!

If you like coconut, try a 'Tradewinds'! It is an awesome drink! I did try a 'Lapu Lapu', but found it too strong, which is odd because I like strong drinks. I tried a couple others at O'Hanas/Tambu Lodge, and they were all VERY GOOD!

I had the Backscratcher and loved it. You get to keep the backscratcher so a great souvenir!

A pirate friend of mine raves about the Lapu Lapu and the Backscratcher, but I prefer the frozen rumrunner. I know, more caribbean than polynesian, and it doesn't come in any kind of snazzy cup - but it's my favorite thing to drink at the Poly.

If you are out by the pool and can swallow the high price, order a Funky Monkey. It comes in a large coconut carved into a monkey.

The backscratcher was great.........I only had one, but could have made a three course meal out of a few of them :drinking1

They have many great tropical drinks there.

Cheers! :D

Lapu Lapu:D FYI, the cocktails at Ohana are expensive. I think the LL was about $10!:earsboy:

The pina colada was to die for. Very thick in a very large goblet type glass.

The Lapu Lapu was $10 and DH and I each ordered one not realizing what we were getting ourselves into! The server brought two pineapples with the drinks in them and two glasses she said was our "refill"! DH and I aren't big drinkers so we weren't too fond of the taste. But I made sure that since I spent $10 on mine I finished it!

My pina colada was the best ever. Don't order one from the pool because they use a different mixer and it wasn't as creamy.

All drinks at the Tambu Lounge/'Ohana are OUTSTANDING, generous and strong! Well worth the price.

And you can order all the same drinks at Kona.::yes::
