I was wondering what the offerings were for children at Ohana...I am very picky and dont eat all of the meats but my husband loves them...I want to go for him...Does anyone know the other choices???
Thanks

Check out the kid's meals at Kona, they will bring one over to 'Ohana for picky kids. If you don't eat meat, ask for a vegetarian dish instead. I used to like 'Ohana a lot, but our last visit was a bit of a letdown food-wise. I would MUCH rather eat at Kona Cafe, but 'Ohana is a little more fun for kids.

DH and I ate there in April and the little girl at the table next to us had a huge bowl of mac and cheese and she had plain vanilla ice cream for dessert.

My picky children have had grilled cheese, chicken fingers, and hot dogs there, all with fries.

They have kids options (as the PP's mentioned). On our first visit to Ohana, the server just told us what the kids' choices were and let them pick. On our 2nd visit, our server waited until we asked about kids choices. I guess he was waiting to see if the kids would like the adult options. But it was no problem to get chicken fingers and mac & cheese. And yes, vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Word of advice...if you get a different kids meal, order it as soon as you sit down. It takes a while to cook and they're sitting there while other are eating. We did it for my son and he whined and whined...;)

I was concerned about what my DD6 would eat at 'Ohana when we were there in Dec. Our server explained as soon as we were seated that both of our kids could have everything that we were eating PLUS "just about anything else" they were hungry for. When I asked what the kids choices were, the server named PB&J, Grilled Cheese, Hamburger/Cheeseburger, Mac&Cheese, and then he repeated that the kitchen would make them "just about anything they are hungry for." My daughter scarfed down her grilled cheese sandwich (the only one she had that week & her favorite food) and he even offered to bring her another!

I don't know if we had an especially accomodating server or if this is standard at 'Ohana, but after our experience, I am not afraid to go back on our next trip.

Enjoy!
