I haven't been to 'Ohana since 2004. I have read that the menu is different, how do you feel about the changes? I know they are relatively old changes, but 'Ohana is a staple of WDW for us and I hope this doesn't affect the experience too much. I'm going to miss the shrimp :(

We just went in May...food and entertainment is still great! The grilled shrimp were my favorites closely followed by the pork won-ton appetizer...the new shrimp (cooked in a wok as I was told) are still delicious...the originals are better though...the new won-ton chips with dips are good...we liked the peanut sauce.

Now for the good news...the desert with the new menu is TO DIE FOR!! Bananas Foster Bread pudding...let's just say that my family does not like bananas...good for me (I think!) and bad for them! :lmao:

Ohana has always been a tradition when we go to WDW so we made ourselves go despite the changes...I am glad that we did.

Have fun....and EAT MUCH!!

I like the new shrimp better - they stay plump and juicy and don't have that peppery seasoning on them (sweet and sour sauce instead).

The potatoes which replaced the rice - wow, are they ever good.

And while the pineapple and caramel was good, the bread pudding is amazing.

But you really won't know if you like the changes until you try them for yourself.
