The kids want to do a character breakfast...got a res for the Ohana Lilo and Stitch breakfast but also have a res for Ohana dinner. Feel like this might be overdoing the Ohana visits. Thoughts?

They are two totally different experiences.
Breakfast is a character breakfast and you are served platters of food. The characters circulate to the tables for meet and greets and pictures..
Dinner is all you care to eat and they serve family style platters of salad, noodles, veggies, wings and pot stickers followed by endless skewers of meat, chicken and shrimp. There is entertainment and games for the children in the evening.
Both are different experiences and lots of folks love both

I think the breakfast is all you care to eat also. We'll be trying it during our upcoming trip for the first time. We've always been there for dinner but the last time it was so loud and the singer was god awful, so hopefully the breakfast will be better atmosphere wise. lol

We always do the breakfast- we love it. Very relaxing with it being family style. I am gf and the chef brings me out my own platter. You can get more of whatever you want.
This last trip- we did the dinner too. Totally different experience. Also, all you can eat and they bring the food to you. No characters. The kids got up to dance.

Make sure your kids like the menu. My kids picked on the noodles, bread, grilled chicken and that was about it!

Breakfast is our favorite between the two, but we do also like dinner. With that said, if both are doable, I'd keep both.

'Ohana dinner is a must do for our family each & very trip. We love the breakfast too and have done both in one trip and it was never overkill. But then again our bucket list trip is at the Polynesian so we are big fans!

Ohana dinner is our family favorite!!!! When our kids were small they loved the food, coconut races, hula hoops & dancing. They are mostly adults now and it is STILL a must do on every WDW trip!

did both on my last trip. may do both again on my next... only reason I might not is that it is only 2.5 days before a cruise. if it was a full week there would be no question.

I would do both. We've done it before. They really feel like completely different restaurants (other than the Polynesian theme, of course). One has characters, one does not. Children won't be out of place at dinner by any means, you'll see plenty of kids, but the dinner experience is not catered to children, like breakfast is. Obviously the food is completely different. I don't think it's overdoing it at all.

I am thinking of doing breakfast and dinner at 'Ohana on our next trip. My husband LOVES their breakfast (especially the eggs!) and the kids want to try it for dinner.

DH says 'Ohana dinner is a must do in every trip, but I've been wanting to try breakfast. So, on our Oct trip we are going to do both. We are staying at the Poly, so it makes it easy.

How long is your trip? They really are different experiences. If you're on a short trip, I could see wanting to not go to 'Ohana twice if only because you want to experience a different atmosphere. But if you're there for five days or more, I don't see why not doing both meals.

How old are your kids? We did 'Ohana for breakfast four trips ago, and my kids (ages 7 and 8 then) loved meeting Lilo, Stitch, and Pluto (and Mickey, though the adults in our party liked meeting Mickey more than the kids :P . If I had to pick between the two experiences, I'd lean to breakfast with younger kids...just because the look on my kids' faces when they saw Lilo and Stitch across the room is something I don't think I'll ever forget.

we have done dinner, but hoping to go for the breakfast as have only heard good things about it, just for some reason always feel short changed using a table credit for breakfast, but im sure my nearly 2yo will love the character interactions :)

we have a disney wedding to attend (as guests) on our next stay so figured this would be a nice morning activity/meal pending getting a reseravation.

I would do both, we did and because they are such different experiences it didn't feel like we did too much Ohana. We preferred the food at dinner, but the breakfast characters are good, and any meal that helps the kids meet Mickey without a queue is always a good idea.

We often will do both breakfast and dinner. 'Ohana breakfast is one of our favorites. The experience between lunch and dinner is different, so I dont see an overlap.

We have tried dinner twice with DD - she loves meat, broccoli, noddles etc...but barely eats at Ohana s. The broccoli is too spicy, noddles too sweet, etc. we have better overall dining experience at Kona Cafe for dinner.

Breakfast is all-you-can-eat....so is dinner. Both are very different. Me, I didnt like the quality of food at dinner. Slimy wings, dry potstickers, dry meat (our ADR was at 530pm!). I prefer breakfast for sure, food is good plus the characters are super cute. I'd keep breakfast but ditch dinner. For the price they charge for dinner, you can get a much better dinner elsewhere. Again, this is just my opinion.

Breakfast is our favorite between the two, but we do also like dinner. With that said, if both are doable, I'd keep both.

This. When we go in September I'm very excited to finally be able to do a dinner!

If your concern is duplication, I wouldn't worry about it -- quite different experiences.

We really like breakfast there, and HATE dinner there. HATE. Really HATE. But I know this is controversial... the love/hate Ohana dinner thing... :D
