This will be our first time at Ohana during Wishes. I have an ADR at Ohana 1 hour before Wishes. We should be seated by 9:15 or 9:30 and wishes will begin at 10:00.

1. Can I "linger" at Ohana to see Wishes or would that be rude?
2. What are the odds of 2 adults (no kiddos on this trip) being able to sit by the window or do they try to have those tables avail for families with small children?
3. If I have a table close to the window do they allow other to come and stand by the windows, thus blocking everyone's view?:crowded:

I can safely say if you are seated around 9:15 you won't have to linger...you will still be there eating. lol

The later in service at Ohana the slower the staff gets, at least this is our experience.
We love Ohana don't get me wrong but it can be a mess there. Slow service, noise but the food is great so we return.

But back to your question. Again you will still be enjoying dinner when Wishes begins, so no worry there.

There are tables for 2 (if I remember right) by the windows, it is usually just DH and myself, but when in Orlanda my best friend comes to dinner with us and it is usually Ohana night.

We were seated by the window last time and I don't remember people getting up to come see. I think it is pretty much a given if you aren't at the window it is rude to go stand by others who are.

Good luck getting a window seat, it can be amazing!! Have a wonderful trip. :)

when we were there in Nov 2009....the view of the MK was generally obstructed from where we sat by the windows...the palms and the volcano pool were the primary obstructions.

When we showed up for our ADRs, we said we'd wait longer if we could get a table by the window so we could watch wishes. It works beautifuly, and only waited probably around 30 minutes. (which to me is nothing!)

You could always walk out to the pool area of the Poly and watch them from the beach. I would try for an earlier ressie and then you won't have to worry about getting a table with a veiw.
