I need some advice! My boss has just told me I can't go on vacation January, February or Septmember of next year! Every year I've been doing vacation around the same time because it's really slow... I know I won't have fun in a large crowd. See, I'm from New York City and I have to deal with HUGE crowds everyday, so going to WDW during the busy period is not a vacation for me...

Forget about UG, TGM, or anything else, what other time of year do YOU guys think me and by DGf should go where the crowds aren't TOO crazy. How could he ruin my proposal like this?... GRRRRR

Sorry about the rant, but I'm majorly upset right now...

How about early October or December?

Early December is perfect...low crowds and beautiful holiday decorations...it's my favorite time of year to go! :teeth:

Go in early December. It is not crowded and the weather is nicer than January.

Yeah early Dec. sounds really nice...I dunno if I can wait til Dec. 2006 to go on vacation though. I'm incredibly stressed here... Plus if we open Mary Poppins like we're planned to, it will be incredibly busy here then...what about April/May? Or is that crazy too?

Although your boss has limited your vacation dates, there are plenty of good times to visit left in the year. Depending on how quickly you desire to visit (and propose) I would say that the first week of March is a great time. The weather is cool in the AM and warms up through out the day and then cools off at night. Perfect for a romantic evening. Most schools don't start spring break until the second week of March. My second best dates would be middle of October through middle of November. However, as some are reporting these times seem to be up in numbers, and that is probaly due to the free dining. Good luck.

Not sure about begining of April, just stay as far away from Easter as you can get.

The beginning of May is great, crowds aren't too bad at all, and the weather is warm but not unbearably hot (usually :) )

The only thing to watch out for at the end of April/beginning of May is Grad Nights (High School Senior trips). The Magic Kingdom closes very early the nights of Grad nights.

We went April 29 to May 4 in 2003 and had great weather (warm enough to enjoy a swim at night without freezing as you walk back to your room) and low crowds.

How about the begining of June or the week after Thanksgiving? Also, May other than Memorial Day weekend is not that bad.

i highly recommend anytime in October or early march (maybe even all of march, but i am not sure of when easter falls this year.)

Wow this sounds great!! I think I'm going to try to get a March or May date - the only thing that worries me about March is the College Spring Breaks... You guys have been so helpful! Thanks!

I second (or third? lol) early May! I had the same thing happen this year - we always go in Jan and September, and had a Jan 2005 trip planned. Work got too busy and I couldn't take the time off so I rescheduled it for the first full week in May and it was GREAT! Not too crowded, the Flower and Garden festival was going on - beautiful! We actually decided to do May again next year with my parents.

So MAY gets my vote!

I vote for March, Its soon, but not so soon that you dont have time to plan, And if it helps your decision any, here in so fl, spring break (for dd's private school) is in april

Okay, so I am going to write out a letter submitting the possible dates that I can go on vacation. I'm still starting with February 3 - Feb 12th.... (yeah, we're going for 10 days) but since you guys have been so helpful, I thought maybe you'd be able to come up with a couple specific weeks that you guys have experienced as slow before June. Thanks sooo much!

We went down at the end of April this year and the people and weather were perfect. Not too busy and only rained at night once. Why don't you give April 28th - May 7th a look at. Maine :firefight
