Does anyone know what exactly this means? Other from the obvious, being that the on line sweepstakes by Disney, cannot be entered at this time.

Is that the celebrations sweepstakes? if so, probably just a temporary glitch. I just did my daily entry and it went fine. So if it was that, just try again.

If it was something different, well it's still probably just a glitch and try again later. : )

He he! Yeah, I was figuring that it most likely was just some kind of glitch,too. It sure would be nice though, if I could understand all of that technical lingo.
Anyway, since then it is baaaaaack! Yay!

Technical answer:

Since the site is so popular, it takes a whole bunch of servers (computers) to run it. Think of those Dell or IBM commercials with rooms full of computer equipment. I'd guess that site alone has a dozen or more computers just for the part we're talking about. Each time you to go to a different page on the site, it is (usually) served by a different server. To keep track of what you're trying to do, all the servers must be "synched" up so it knows who you are and what page you just came from.

The error you got indicates that the server trying to display the page couldn't synch up and couldn't confirm who you were or what you were trying to do. If you had the previous page up for a while (like several hours or more) and Disney updated the site, it's possible that caused the problem. More likely though is that the communications between your computer and the server got garbled along the way. Rare, but it happens.

Thank you for the explanation, mwrogers.
I did not have any of the pages up for long at all. Just did my usual, being go to my bookmarks, then clicked on the link for the sweepstakes email address page, entered that information, but then the next page gave me the attitude.
I do have an older computer, maybe Disney's system did not care for it, at the time.
