Oh no they didn't, but yes they did- UPDATE- Pic Post #44

I guess that means there's more than one giant chicken dressed for Easter this year! :thumbsup2:

I think the one in Athens was on Milledge Ave. - we used to pass by it going to visit DS at UGA.

We have a house near us that decorates for every holiday. They cover their yard in inflatables, and huge decorations. Even very minor holidays. We use it as a land mark when giving driving directions :) And our kids love it.

You sure you don't like near me? ;) There is someone near me who has a very small front lawn but covers it in infatables. Right now they have a giant leprechaun.

Is this like those ducks that people dress up for all the holidays? I've got to see a picture. :lmao:

That is one thing I will have to see (and laugh at)!

:rotfl: *is waiting eagerly for the pic*

:furious: Where are the pictures??????? :teeth: Been dying to use that 'furious' smiley ;)

What!?! You mean you don't carry your digital camera around for those "Oh the Dis is just NOT gonna believe this!" moments? :rotfl2:

I guess we'll just have to be patient :hourglass

When we were younger my parents had so many things on the front yard that I would give directions by telling people its the yellow house that looks like it has a mini golf course in front. We had a windmill, gnomes, ugly statues, a wheelbarrel full of plants, like 10 whirligigis and a huge anchor(dad was retired navy)! I was sooo embarrased but thier new place is pretty much the same.Mom just likes to decorate the yard.Oh well. Its hideous but harmless.

Mimi Q - Would it be easy to stumble upon by just driving around town? Would you mind sharing the street name or perhaps the general vicinity? (If you'd rather not, no problem. :))

Sent you a PM.

Well I got the picture, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to post it. I know that your thinking- she has a picture of her dog in her signature, but someone else had to do it for me. I could e-mail it to someone who is willing to post it on this thread or I'll just try later myself.

Please do- I check this thread all the time for pix!

Picture sent. Thanks for your help.

One could make a very clever joke of this. Think of a synonym for rooster. I wonder if anyone has complimented the neighbors yet. "My, what a beautiful [rooster]?" :) :) :)
