...and Goofy me forgot to book it!  :headache: I remembered to book our nights before our cruise (this Saturday), but completely forgot to get one night for the day we come back! :sad2: I was hoping to book a value resort, since this is a last minute trip (..we cruised in Sept. too! ;) ), and we'll be at the MK all day, so we'll just be crashing at the hotel. Disney said they have no availability for any value resort. I found availability for POP on greaterorlandodiscounts .com, but have never heard of them. Has anyone used this site before? Or, I'd love to know how to get a Disney value resort, even with the cm telling me there was no availability... any ideas????

Seems like I have seen coupon books or something like that.
However I would be leery as I do not see how you can contact anyone from that business. And what little I checked out just links into other websites like hotel.com, tripres.com, and many others.

Some of the web discounters will show availability, but in reality when you try to book, they may come back to you with no room at the inn. What they do is submit a request for a reservation, and then if the request is fulfilled you're booked. If it's not, you're not. Because of the potential for credit card fraud, I would stick with the well known discounters like AAA, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc. Since the "big guys" often have blocks of rooms assigned to them for a specific period of time, they are more likely to be able to get you that room. Keep in mind though that their unsold inventory typically gets turned back to Disney at a certain point (which can vary from 30-90 days prior to arrival) so last minute rooms can be more difficult.

Are you looking up availability on Disney's website or calling them on the phone? Sometimes there are differences in availability between the two, so I would try both.

I hadn't thought to check online too. Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm totally stressing out!! :scared1:

Also, try for more days than you need.

For some reason both the phone system and the online system want you to book multiple nights if availability is low, (especially if that night is a weekend night.) Try for 4 or 5 nights, then call back and cancel the nights you don't need.
