I headed to DTD in the morning to do some shopping and DH met me around noon for lunch. We headed over to Wolfgang Puck's Express.
I got the macaroni and cheese, creme brule and a diet coke.
I wasn't in love with this. I LOVE mac and cheese and it just wasn't fantastic. First of all, we waited FOREVER for our food and then mine was cold so I had to bring it back in and get more, and it still wasn't that hot. It tasted fine, I just wasn't blown away. The creme brule was very good.
DH had the lasagna, a cookie and an iced tea.
(there's no cookie in the pic because it took so long to get our food that DH ate it first)
He really liked the lasagna. It was hot and fresh and tasty. The cookie was good, too!!
2 full lunches - 2 CS - ($30.57 OOP without DDP)

I've been to WPE before and really liked it, and didn't have a problem with service. I'm hoping this was just an off day so I'd go again, but would try something else.
Dinner was the dinner we had been waiting for ALL WEEK - Le Cellier!!! We didn't have any plans for the afternoon so we headed to Epcot at about 5:30 to walk around and have some cocktails. We headed to the Rose and Crown - DH for a Guiness and me for a Black & Tan. MAN this place ain't cheap...but it's just about the best Guiness either of us have ever had.
2 pints - $15.98 OOP - now multiply that by 3, because that's how many times we went back to the bar for the same order over the course of the night. Ouch. But YUM.
We checked in a little before our ADR (I think it was for 7) and were seated fairly quickly. We were so excited to eat here, and it did NOT disappoint. First we had bread -
I could have eaten about 264831643 pretzel bread sticks. YUM-O. I ate both of them. I did give DH a bite, but that was it. He tried the multi grain one and liked it, and the sourdough was good, too. He's not as much as a bread fan as I am.
I got a the cheese soup, the maple filet (sauce on the side), the creme brule duo and a glass of Cabernet.
I had tried the soup at the F&W festival a few years ago and have been dreaming about it ever since, LOL. It's divine. I mean, what's better than cheese soup other than cheese soup made with BEER? Triple YUM-O. The filet was also fantastic...among the best I've ever had. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side because it was pretty sweet and I didn't love it. The creme brule was excellent, probably the best I've ever had.
DH went with the Caesar salad, mushroom filet, chocolate mousse and a Moosehead Pale Ale.
He also loved everything. The salad was very fresh, and I loved the cheesy crouton thingy. I love cheesy anything, though!! He really loved his filet, said it was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms with it were great. I took his word for it, I don't do mushrooms. I tried a taste of the mousse and it was good, but VERY rich, which I don't love. DH really enjoyed it, though!!
We also got a side of creamed spinach.
DH didn't like it because it was TOO cheesy, but since that's not part of my vocabulary I LOVED it. It was very tasty with a yummy crusty cheese top. I ate almost all of it!!!
Overall we absolutely LOVED Le Cellier and will definitely go back on our next trip!!!
2 dinners - 2 TS + $20.22 OOP for the drinks and spinach (would have been about $76.94 + the drinks and spinach OOP without the DDP)
