oh my god - off to DLP in 5 weeks and just found out!!

so, my mum comes up to visit today, and we had been talking on and off about a trip to DLP in October, but we had to put it on hold as she may have been getting a new job and didn't want to take holidays in the training period...

BUT we are going!!! she said 'sod it - I need my DLP fix!!' quite right

we're out on the 4th of October, back on the 8th and staying at the Sequoia Lodge for the first time!!

I'll be paying for the meals and VEA buses to the parks, seeing as my amazing mum is paying for the flights and hotel, but we got a good deal - 494 quid for 4 nights, and one night free included

any idea if the tarzan show will be on at this time? parade and show schdule still isn't up?

Just looked at DLRP Magic, it finished today.

Never mind, you will have a fantastic time as you will catch the start of Halloween season!

i know, just about to look on dlrp magic as to whats happening for it this year

does anyone know if it is busy at the start of oct? i went this time 3 years ago, and it wasn't too bad from memory...

I'll be there from the 3rd to the 5th (so will just miss the Halloween stuff) and I'm not expecting it to be busy. My sister took her kids in late September last year and they walked on almost everything - they were in the park for only 2 days, and they did their favourite rides twice over. I expect it might be a bit busier this year because of the 15th year, but still very bearable .

We went early October 2004 and it was very quiet, one time the CM let us stay on POTC 3 times and then we asked if we could get off.
and the weather was fabulous we walked around in Tshirts, even at night.
