Oh my god, did we really eat all of this in just 6 days !!!!!!!!!!Update 092209

I always feel like we over eat on the dining plan...do you think it works out to be cheaper to get the dining plan or just scale back and pay as you go? We do love the character meals and trying the different restaurants...so that's something to consider. thanks for the input

Thanks for a wonderful update. We never went to Cape May for dinner...we went for breakfast and loved the food and characters. I'm going back and forth if we should try it for our December trip but now I see your pictures and read your review I think I need to rearrange (so many places to eat at night). The bucket of mussels looks really good. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to read more popcorn::

We have never done the character breakfast, but have always enjoyed the clam bake, I just love the clams and mussells. :thumbsup2

Your reviews are awesome! So are your photos! Thanks for sharing them with us.

Your Tutto Italia review and pictures (especially of the desserts) have me wanting to go there. We get such good Italian around here, I've been hesitant to try it, but it looks so beautiful and that is the kind of food we love best.

We enjoyed Cape May Cafe a great deal as well. Your dessert plate looks exactly how I remember mine. They served a Teriyaki baked salmon the night we were there that was fantastic. :)

I think Tutto Italia is one of my favorite restaurants at Disney. I love the theming, and the service has always been wonderful, never feel rushed, and the food has always been done perfectly. :lovestruc

Great pictures. So glad you took the time to share. We leave next week. Your getting me more excited now.

popcorn:: Signing up!!

Thanks for reading, I hope you have a great trip. :yay:

Looking forward to more of your reviews. :goodvibes Your Ds reminds me of my DS when he was that age...all chicken strips, pasta, burgers and pizza... oh wait he's still like that at 24. :lmao:

:rotfl: I guess I will have that to look forward to as he grows up, not very adventorous when it comes to dining. Gets really unhappy when its a steak house , so you can just imagine how much he loved the idea of Le Cellier at the end of our trip.

Great Reviews so far. I love the Tutto Italia pictures. I am really looking forward to eating there on our upcoming trip. Can't wait to see what other restaurants you enjoyed.

Thanks for joining in :flower3:

Tutto looked wonderful!

I'm thinking about trying Cape May for dinner next year. I'm a little hesitant after my breakfast there last year, but keep on reading good reviews. And those desserts look yummy!

Great reviews were big fans of Flame Tree BBQ too!:goodvibes

It has to be one of the best counter services at Disney :thumbsup2

fab reviews - I love tutto :lovestruc. Cape May sounds great too. :thumbsup2

Cape May is really very good, the only place on site that I am aware of that has fresh clams.

great reviews and pics! tutto looks soooo good!

Tutto is an absolute favorite of my whole family ;)

It depends on what you like, if you want to have a quick dinner, and do the parks commando style then you probably would be better off not taking the dining plan. But if you like to have one nice meal a day,and relax, then the dining plan is the way to go, because it is so much cheaper imho. We would never spend the money to eat at Tutto, Le Celier etc in the same trip if we were paying cash. Our check at Tutto was Just as an example , our bill was $185.00 for the three of us for dinner, that more then would have paid for our dining plan for that day. One day at Disney we would spend $8 on breakfast, at least another $10 for lunch and then if we go to table service dinner your going to spend at least $30-$40 per person , thats a lot more then what the dining plan would cost. It all depends on what you want to do. Personaly, I like having a relaxed nice meal at the end of a really hectic day at the Parks.

Today was Magic Kingdom day, and we finaly made rope drop, thats something I always wanted to do, but for some reason we were never able to.

I just love the way MK is decorated for Halloween.

There really isnt many choices for breakfast at MK, but we went to Main St. Bakery.

My DH and I both had these wonderful ham and cheese coissants.

100_1842.jpg

They were fresh and hot and omg, they were melt in your mouth delicous.

My DS had his usual bagel and chocolate milk.

100_1840.jpg

What can I say a bagel is a bagel is a bagel.

And we split 3 ways this wonderful cinnamon roll.

100_1841.jpg

It was so warm and yummy

The park was really empty and we were able to get a lot done. For lunch, my DS and DH wanted to go to Cosmic Rays in Tommorow land.

My Ds had the ever popular chicken nuggets and french fries.

100_1863.jpg

And as usual he enjoyed these very much.

My DH and I both had the turkey and bacon wraps with homemade crisps.

100_1862.jpg

I received a wrap with no turkey or bacon, just lettuce and tomatoes, :lmao:
When we went back to the counter and explained, the CM laughed and promptly gave us another one. The homemade potatoe chips are to die for . The one with turkey is so much better, lol

For desert we had brownies, for some reason no pix of these. lol

We were able to do almost everything we wanted to before our adr for dinner at the Crystal palace. This was a choice of my DS and DH. Once again we checked in and were seated right away.

The best part of Crystal Palace is the character interaction imho. The food is pretty good, but not exceptional.

DS once again had his chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and some grapes. I really believe it there wasnt any chicken in the world my Ds would starve.

100_1878.jpg

I tried the soup I think it was corn chowder, it was pretty good.

100_1882.jpg

The salad bar had some good choices on it.

100_1881.jpg

100_1879.jpg

For the main part of our meals, I really enjoyed the macaroni and cheese, and DS also enjoyed the meat balls and Pizza.

For desert the usual fare.

Ice Cream

100_1897.jpg

Cookies and cake.

100_1898.jpg

We enjoyed Crystal Palace mostly as I said due the character interaction, but we might skip this next time and try something different.

At some point during the day we had these babies

DS doesnt like pineapple :scared1: so had Vanilla ice cream with coke.

The Dole whip has to be one of my favorite things at MK, if only I could figure out how to make them at home.

Tommorow its Le Celier and Germany.

Thanks for sharing. Your DS sounds like my younger DD chicken and pbj are her meals of choice except for breakfast. She loves breakfast ;)

did your ds have a favorite chicken nuggetor were they the same everywhere? My ds 11 will either be eating those or a burger where ever we go. Eating at CP for dinner in about 3 weeks. ate there for lunch last year and enjoyed it.

I wish my DS would eat breakfast, you know eggs, or pancakes, but nope bagels and cereal only. :rotfl:

I think he pretty much liked them all, but he did say the chicken sandwich at Sci Fi was his favorite. :confused3

The Crosisant wasnt a snack credit, we paid cash for that ant the Cinn Roll, but I think the cinn roll is still a snack credit. We saved our snack credits for the Dole Whips. Yummm
