We just got back from 6 days ( not nearly enough time) from the world. I will try to give honest opinions on the food along with plenty of pictures.

This trip was me, mom and wife, my DH and my 15 year old DS. Everyone got to pick at least one resturant they wanted to go to during the trip, either for the first time or an old favorite. So most of the places we ate we had been to before. We were on the regular DDP. I will review all of the places we ate in the order in which we went. Please feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to answer.

First up our first day was spent at DHS. My DS's pick was Sci Fi, now I know most reviews I have read do not give this place a :thumbsup2, but my DH really wanted to eat here. So our first dinner was at Sci Fi.

Our reservation was for 8pm, when I had made my ADR's this park was supposed to close at 8:30 so I made it late on purpose, little did I know they would change the closing time to 10:00, so kind of bad planning on my part :confused3

We got to our ADR about 10 minutes early and were seated right away, we had a car to ourselves. ( or so I thought till I saw this picture.) lol

We decided to start with the famous milkshakes I hear so much about.

Dh and I had chocolate. yummmm

and Ds had vanilla, he said it was delicious.

My DS had the Italian Grilled Chicken Sandwich served on a Kaiser Roll with fries.

He said it ws very good, it comes with Brushetta, but he had it left off. Just lots of ketchup for this boy. ;)

DH and I had Smoked St. Louis-style Ribs - Basted with barbecue sauce and served with cole slaw and french fries.

000_0109.jpg

The ribs were so good, they practicaly fell off the bone. ummmm

Then it was time for desert, Ds had No Sugar Added Brownie with Ice Cream and Strawberries ( god only knows why, think he wants to eat healthy? :lmao:) I laugh because of all the junk he ate while we were at Disney. He did say this was very good.

DH and I had Peanut Butter-Chocolate Cake - Warm chocolate cake with a creamy peanut butter center served a la mode. Not sure why but that picture did not come out. My DH loved this, me not so much, too much cake and not enough peanut butter in my piece, so DH ate his then promptly finished mine.

It seems like they updated the flix they show, because we saw different movie clips since last time we were there, and it didnt repeat until we were almost done. It was fun, the food was pretty good and my DS was very happy, he decided this was his favorite place to eat. :)

Glad to read you liked Sci Fi . We are eating there for the first time in a long time next month. The shakes look yummy!! I think we plan on ordering burgers. Looking forward to more reviews.

My DH and kids requested this Sci Fi for our trip last month, we love to get the burgers.

Sci-fi has the best boozie milkshakes on property ... next time, if you are so inclined, try Marsha's Martian: half chocolate and half vanilla milkshakes with Baileys Irish Cream. :thumbsup2

We love Sci-Fi. Never had a bad meal there. Can't wait for the rest of your dining review!:cool1:

Glad to hear they updated/extended their clips! The last time I was there (which was a few years ago) it seemed like the loop only lasted 15 minutes. Sounds you like had a great time!

Brenda, boozie milkshakes, you say?? I'm not a big Sci-Fi fan, but if we're talking boozie milkshakes, I'm in!

Looking forward to the rest of your reviews!

Welcome back! can't wait to read more of your review. BTW, I had the shake, chicken sandwich and the brownie during my last visit at Sci-fi too. Love the shake! It was so thick and the straw basically stayed cemented, lol

Love the Sci-Fi burgers!!!!!!!!

Cant wait to try them. :)

We were really happy too, I agree last time it seemed like the same clips replayed every couple of minutes.

I know I had to wait a while for it to melt to be able to drink it. :rotfl: But it was really very good.

Thanks to everyone for reading I will post part two later today. :flower3:

Day two was Epcot, and off to Sunshine Seasons for breakfast.

DS had his usual bagel, energy drink and bananna and cereal. :thumbsup2

I had the croissant and coffee ( well Disney's imitation of coffee lol)

100_1722.jpg

and DH had a bagel and we split the chocolate croissant. yummy

We have found they have a pretty good selection of quick breakfast items, and we seem to always have breakfast there at least once a trip.

For lunch we went to the Libery Inn at the American Pavillion.

How many ways can my DS have chicken? For lunch he had Chicken Breast Nuggets - served with fries . He said they were really good.

100_1725.jpg

Dh and I both had the Bacon Double Cheeseburger Meal - served with fries. We both enjoyed this but very big for lunch.

100_1726.jpg

For desert my DS had the no sugar added brownie once again, DH had the chocolate mouse which he enjoyed and I had the Apple Cobbler, Very good and my DS decided he liked it better then the brownie and finished it for me ;)

After walking around World Showcase for several hours we took the boat over to Italy for my DH's pick for the day which was Tutto Italia. I had made ADR's for 545 and am happy to report we were seated as soon as we checked in ( seems we were 2 for 2 as far as our adr's went and being seated immediately)

I have to admit even though this was DH's pick, I love this restaurant. I love the theming, the food, the service. Everything has always been wonderful in our past trips and this night was no different. :thumbsup2

Our waiter was very good, very attentive and had some wonderful suggestions. I had wanted to get the Ceaser Salad that I had before, but my boys didnt want to order any appetizers ( kind of pricey) so I decided to forgo my salad and decided to order the Grand Antipasto Misto - chefs selection of various appetizers and specialties, generous platter served family-style, they say it serves two, but there was more then enough for the three of us. ( waiters suggestion )

100_1736.jpg

This was really good, it had so many things in it I cant remember all of it, but I know it had Prosuitte (sp?) olives, peppers, mushrooms, artichoke hearts (yummy), salami, and lots of cheeses. This would be a must do on all future trips.

For dinner my DS had Spaghetti - veal meatballs and pomodoro sauce, ( His favorite even over chicken :lmao:) He lovveedd this :)

100_1738.jpg

My DH had Veal ravioli, not on the All Ears menu either :confused3 but he absolutely loved this.

100_1737.jpg

I had Petto di Pollo - oven roasted chicken breast with tomatos and mozzarella, served with roasted potatoes. OMG this was delicious, I had it last time we were here, and this was even better, lots of melted cheese. ummm

100_1739.jpg

I could not finish this (had to keep some room for desert) so my DH helped me along. :rotfl:

For desert my DH had ths desert that I cant remember what it was called and its not on All Ears Tutto Menu page, but it was two little cakes, one was cheesecake I think with some fresh fruit , blackberry, and melons and the other one was chocolate with fresh raspberries, cream and chocolate staws. It looked wonderful and my DS enjoyed every bite, ( happy to know he actually likes fruit besides banannas :) )

100_1740.jpg

My DH had some sort of chocolate cake with whipped cream (also not on All ears menu) with chocolate straws, that he absolutely loved.

100_1741.jpg

To finish up I had the Copetta Sotto Bosco - berries, zabaglione cream gelato and chocolate sauce, Again another suggestion from the waiter, and it did not dissapoint.

100_1742.jpg

Dinner was wonderful, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, the food was excellent as was the service. :thumbsup2

Day 3 is Flame Tree Barbaque and Cape May Clam Bake.

Great reviews. The food at Tutto looks delicous. We are going to Tutto in Dec. for the first time. Now I am really looking forward to it.:)

Great reviews ! :woohoo:

Love the pics from Tutto Italia.

Tutto and Bistro de Paris are easily the two best restaurants in Epcot, IMO...
