It really is terrifying. I heard that the backlash from the book may actually cause an increase in interest in Scientology and not in a good way. I think Southpark needs to re-run it's episode. I've still got it Tivo'd.

I don't click a lot of links either because somewhere back in this thread a "newbie" came on and posted links to stuff, and the next day my computer crashed HARD. Perhaps I am paranoid too, but I felt like it was a set up by someone who does not like this thread too much.

What I always find so ironic is many of the (alleged) methods this (alleged) religion uses to (allegedly) brainwash it's members is similar to psychology. I guess that's why LRH hated it so much, his (alleged) tricks would be found out with just one visit to a licensed psychologist.
