Ok - my first was always way way ahead of the milestones as a baby, and I think he MIGHT have been pushing up and holding his head up off the floor when he was on his tummy at 3 1/2 months....but I can't really remember...any younger Mommy's here that know if it is normal for a kid to hold their head up that high at 3 months? Going by my last baby who was more on track for the milestones....I'm thinking that looks 5-6 months.

Just got back from a weekend at my parents' lake house. Guess what book I found on their bookshelf? Dianetics! WTH? My aunt had given it to them when it got popular about 1987 or so. It titles itself as a self-help book and many people have lent their name to it saying it has helped them. Most say they read it through 2 or 3 times in one sitting. I couldn't gt much past page one. Maybe because I know what rubbish it is? Anyway, if anyone wants a unused, slightly dusty copy, let me know, and I will send in a team to deprogam you!

My DD-13-saw this photo in a magazine and said mom, why does she have a fake belly on? I couldn't believe it, Tom pulled the wool over poor Katie's eyes that noone would notice her pseudopregnancy, but he couldn't even fool a 13 yr. old kid.

Even my DH said her legs, hands, and chest don't look 9 mos. pregnant.
