I went back some in this thread to find the picture of the furry looking baby-thing but couldn't find it. Does anyone know where it is within all these pages?

What is interesting about the "success stories" is that after reading several articals about Crazy tOM AND sCIENTOLOGY (All of which were links in this thread) the same catch phrases keep appearing "What's true for you" "gives me the tools to acheive MY happiness" "I can achieve" and on and on and on...it all is so self-centered - it is a religion (cult) all about themselves - and making themselves happy - they can pretty much make up their own life rules because if it is true for them, then so be it. It really sounds like evil to me. The only time they talk about helping people is when they want to grab someone else into the cult. They don't want to help anyone. They get someone addicted to having their brain washed (because they tell them they have achieved something after a session) and you have to either give over all of your money to have your brain washed, or if you can't afford to do that, then you have to give over you life and sign a billion year contract to work for the organization and you are nothing without them. (Which is the exact definition of a cult) EVIL! Is anyone else having a hard time beliving how many people were sucked into this? Were these people raised in a cave with no education about what to look out for? Are they just that self-centered? I guess if you don't have real religion in your life it would be harder to spot. (Just because many of these peole "claim" they were raised Catholic, doesn't really mean they were true by the book Catholics. I know a ton of people who "go through the motions of Catholicism, but don't really understand what is behind it, because they were not taught taught Catholicism correctly. And it cracks me up when Tom says "you can be a catholic and and a scientologist" _that is the way they suck someone into thinking they are not giving up their whole life at first. (Then all the sudden Katie is "just a scientologist") I don't know about Scientology rules, but I know the Catholic ones - and we DO NOT PUT FALSE GODS AHEAD OF OUR GOD. (Which would include TC and ourselves) so no, you can't be both.

Don't worry Katie, God is a forgiving God. So you can leave the maniac - (I think the safest way to do that would be to do it on the air) and go to confession and then go hug your parents and put it all behind you and get yourself to Mass.

Phorsenuf, I SWEAR I'm not following you from thread to thread. LOL But, is the printer fixed yet? Just wondering.

Splash, I mean't to dig that thead up. I managed to get the printer to share now. Turns out that the IP address for the server computer wasn't showing as a trusted site through Norton Firewall.
However now I can't get my shared documents to show. The 2 computers that are hard wired to the main computer do not show. The 2 computers that run wireless in the house do. It's very strange and I've checked everything I can.
Yes, we have 5 computers.....sad isn't it.

MY4KIDS: I think Katie is already "sucked in"...I think Katie is too brainwashed to even think rationally. :sad2: Do you all remember little Elizabeth Smart? That absolutely beautiful, young girl who was SUCKED IN by those wackos that abducted her and if even if she was in a crowded room she could not even think straight to say to anyone...HELP ME...! I mean those wackos actually could walk down the street and not worry that Elizabeth would say anything...it was a couple that spotted HER and called 911!!! :sad2:

So back to Katie...look at her lately in some of the photos...she is NOT happy! She is SUCKED IN!! She is BRAINWASHED!! :sad2: Tom picked a woman ALLOT younger than him that would just see STARS if Tom looked at her twice = Katie!! And then he roped her in and then with stars still in her eyes she AGREED to this whole new lifestyle!! :sad2:

SUCCESSES OF SCIENTOLOGY

In other philosophies, my questions would get answered to some degree, but then I would have a follow-up question and there would be no answer. The logic would dead-end. In Scientology you can find answers for anything you could ever think to ask. These are not pushed off on you as, “This is the answer, you have to believe in it.” In Scientology you discover for yourself what is true for you.

No one is telling you. You gain your own knowledge of what is true for you. And so your ability to communicate, your ability to be certain about yourself and to know what your purposes, intentions and goals are, become much stronger. Scientology is about regaining total cause over your own life.

Thought this was interesting.

ChristmasElf, do we need to start worrying about you converting? STAY AWAY FROM ANY MALL SCIENTOLOGY KIOSKS. You hear? I'm watching you!

No wonders they are so against the mental health professions, they might be deprogramed and actually have a mind of their own.

Katie was probably a pretty easy target for Tom considering she had declared in an interview MONTHS before meeting him that she wanted to marry him ever since seeing him in Risky Business.

In that case, maybe I should start giving interviews! (Although I won't be mentioning Tom Cruise.)

I agree 100% with you.

Im not religious, at all. Although Ive always been fascinated with religion. I remember reading about Satanism in High School and I distinctly recall this "self absorbed / self gratification" as being part of their beliefs.

Im gonna go look it up....

Found it...

http://www.religioustolerance.org/satanis4.htm

- Major emphasis is placed on the power and authority of the individual Satanist, rather than on a God or Goddess.
- They believe that "no redeemer liveth" - that each person is their own redeemer, fully responsible for their own life.
- "Satanism respects and exalts life. Children and animals are the purest expressions of that life force, and as such are held sacred and precious..." 2 Children and animals are not abused or killed.
- Those Satanists who believe in Satan or Set as a living entity do not worship or demonstrate their faith in him (as, for example, Christians worship and pray to their God).
- They believe that one should live out their lusts and desires, and enthusiastically explore the "seven deadly sins" with other consenting adults.
- They follow many beliefs, practices and rules of behavior which are in conflict with traditional Christianity, and essentially all other religions.
- Uniqueness and creativity are encouraged.

In the article someone posted with L. Ron's son he says that his father based a lot of this "religion" on that.

Baby Suri Spotted!

July 18, 2006

While the world continues to anxiously await a glimpse of SURI, TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES's 3-month-old baby, US Weekly reports that at least one person has had the pleasure of gazing upon the Hollywood golden child.

According to the latest issue of the magazine, on stands Friday, the couple's good friend, "King of Queens" star LEAH REMINI, says she actually met the young tyke several weeks ago.

"She's a newborn and normal size!" Leah tells US Weekly. Another pal is quoted as saying that Suri is "a cross between the two -- [with] dark, straight hair and dark eyes."

Now, keep in mind that Leah Remini is also a Scientologist :teeth:

Newborn... at 3 months old :confused3
