Can I just say a great big THANK YOU! I read your anniversary report and saw the photos you have from the CG and Wishes and it's convinced me (among other reasons) that I'd really like just a nice evening with dh instead of a DP (details why are in my PJ). I wasn't sure if we'd even have a decent view of Wishes and whether we'd hear the music, but your TR answered all of those questions.

You've also been super helpful as I make the decision between intimate DP or CG Wishes and I can't thank you enough for all your wonderful help!

Thanks to all your help and TR, we've decided to drop the kids at the kids club for the evening while we go enjoy wishes at the CG by ourselves... and I still get to wear my dress there.

So again, THANK YOU!!

Do you happen to have any extra advice on snagging one of those wonderful window seats?

Yay! I'm so glad it helped!

My only advice is to book your ADR earlier than you think you should and to be sure it says all over it that you are celebrating your wedding.

Once you show up in your dress, they will prolly scramble to be sure you get a seat with a great view, but you may need to be willing to wait for it. We waited 40 minutes past our reservation time on a Friday in January, so I guess I'd say to make your ADR for at *least* and hour before Wishes starts, if not more.

Does Wishes ever change or is it always at 8pm? I'm hoping a Tuesday evening at the beginning of January won't be too busy... the kids are back in school, so most of the big crowds should be gone by then.

ADRs are still at 90 and will remain there for awhile at least.

Wishes changes depending on season, crowd level. In January you should be pretty safe with thinking it'll be at 8pm it might be at 9pm it all depends on park closing. (although, this past Jan the parks closed at 8pm so that's when Wishes was)

Make sure your ADR is for at least an hour before wishes. I'm not sure if it needs to be more, but I'd check with the dining forum if no one here knows.
